You get both in one go! Great views from the ramparts.
Got told to leave my quite small rucksack in a box in the entry area. Not confident it would be looked after but I was reunited with it in the end. Guards a bit stoney faced but one fetched me a stool so redeemed!

Thank Tiff N

Don't miss it! It is a bit distant from the main part of Verona, but worth the walk or 6€ cab fare from the center of Verona.

Did not know the museum was inside the castle but was recommended to see the art by our tour guide. Free to walk around the inside of the castle & a small charge to enter the museum. Well worth a visit even if you don't like the art. See the website for more details. Would have been 5 stars if there had been a lift & if the staff had been a little more attentive. The castle is great for taking photos & you can climb to the top of the walls if you enter the museum. After the heat of walking around Verona this is a quiet peaceful oasis of art.

This place has a moat, drawbridge, and is quite different to other bridges, as it is built as part of the castle. Great art in the museum.
