“One of the Loveliest Churches of Verona”
Reviewed April 25, 2013

San Zeno is a personal favorite for me. It is a very ancient church, with a long, interesting history. There are very nice cloisters, and a crypt, as well.

“My favourite church in Verona”
Reviewed April 24, 2013

One of the oldest churches in Verona, full of wonderful Romanesque features and amazing frescoes (some of which were covered in late medieval graffiti) and sculptures, as well as an impressive altarpiece by Mantegna. Peaceful and pretty cloister as well.

“Magnificent”
Reviewed April 19, 2013

this is well worth the walk out of the historic center of Verona. Great architecture and frescoes. Don't miss the sculpture of the "Laughing" St. Zeno.

“One of the Best!”
Reviewed March 17, 2013

A beautiful Romanesque church but a little out the way from the center of Verona Italy. It is so worth making an effort to see it if in Verona. Love all of Verona but this is my absolute favorite and one of my most favorite churches ever.
