Verona is full of amazing attractions that seem to be hidden by the Romeo and Juliet fiction. The Giardino Giusti and the palace attached are worth visiting. The garden is kept historically accurate and is a calm, interesting place. The upper levels give good views over the town.

The Giardini Giusti are spectacularly formal — and beautifully maintained. They show the power of a wonderful concept, vast amounts of money and hundreds of years of care.
The gardens are an easy stroll from the center of town, and well worth the walk.

Worth a visit - the gardens are small (perhaps an acre) but well kept. A series of hedges and statues split the garden into squares. There is a grotto on the hill side and you can walk up a tower to get a great view across the city. The palace is run down with very little in it which is a shame as more could be done with it. It costs EUR8 to visit but only EUR5 if you have a Verona card.

The gardens are spectacular because of their design and layout, ans also the use of statues is very well done. From the top of the garden, you get a great view over Verona city. If you visit the garden, entrance into the palace/palazzo is included. The palazzo is beautiful, but there are many of those and some are much more elaborate, have more art, are larger, etc. So if you are a lover of gardens, a visit to Giardino Guisti is for you, but if you want to see beautiful palaces, you can afford to skip this one.

Walk over the Pierta bridge to the east side of Adige river and southwards. Beside seeing an old genuine peacful part of Verona this garden is worth the euros. Great opportunities for some nice photos from the top.

The gardens of Palazzo a Giusti were a real discovery for us during our second visit to Verona! This place is amazing, most relaxing and not touristy at all. There you can finally “breath free” after walking through the overcrowded city center. In Giardini Giusti attractions are placed on several levels (it’s a terrace garden, having climbed on the top of the hill, we could enjoy outstanding views on Verona! The “monstrous” mascaron above the grotto on the central axes of the garden reminds of manierist and baroque villas of Latium. Une visite a recommander!

Well worth visiting when in Verona. A wonderful old formal garden that you can slowly stroll thru to enjoy the plantings and statuary. Take a walk thru the maze. Make sure you climb the stairs to the tower for the views of Verona and the garden. This garden has so many different areas making it an interesting garden. The Cyprus trees are impressive. The day we were there a garden tour from Germany was visiting making for fun conversation. The palazzo can also be toured and has great views of the garden of course. A great way to spend a morning or afternoon.

Well worth the walk to these gardens and Palazzo.
The gardens are beautiful. Lower very formal . Upper through a staircase more relaxed.
One Cyprus tree is 600 years old.
Great place to spend a couple of hours.
The Palazzo rooms lovingly painted esp the ceilings.

The palazzo and it's rooms were wonderful to walk through but the real beauty here was the gardens. The extensive formal gardens work their way up a natural cliff wall. At the top there is an incredible view over Verona.

A wonderful self guided walk in this oasis will bring you to amazing views of the Verona skyline so make sure to have your camera ready. You will want to capture all of the gardens beauty..We spent about 2 hours wondering the paths, enjoying the art work, the plants, the skyline and getting lost in the maze. It would be a good idea to bring bug spray, comfortable walking shoes and a camera. This is a true gem to visit.
