Hotel is just great. Very good location, friendly staff, great breakfast. Our standard room was upgraded and has unforgettable terrace with blooming flowers. Everything was just perfect! Hotel is in a few steps from the Arena of Verona and the main lovely streets. The hotel accurately expresses the spirit of Verona.

Room Tip: Room with terrace are just great

Thank you for the nice words! We're happy you like our room with bacony and flowers. The city is flourishing, alive and, you're right, we'd like to present the same freshness. We hope to welcome you again!
Thanks from all the staff!

A very convenient hotel extremely well located, a few meters from the Verona’s amphitheatre and a few meters from the main street of the historical neighbourhood of Verona. There is a valet parking system, so you don’t need to bother about the parking, just go with your car in front of the hotel, take your luggage out and give your key to the reception. We had a family room (2 bedrooms each with their own TV and large place to unpack): it was very well equipped, very nice bathroom with all the amenities and electric shutters. Very quiet in the night (our room was located on the courtyard). The Staff was very kind and professional. Buffet breakfast was nice too, Italian expressi and cappuccino included… . No doubt, we would highly recommend this place when staying in Verona

Thank you so much for the nice words. We are happy you liked our two double connecting rooms. They are the perfect solution for families, friends and colleagues. There are two double beds and one shared bathroom between the two rooms (which, as you, know, are separated and with two televisions). When we read this kind of feedback, we are proud of our staff and service, so thanks a lot!! We hope to see you again.. and soon!!!

Overall this is a great hotel, especially for the price. The beds aren't very comfortable and the walls are thin so noise is a little bit of a problem. Breakfast is great, staff are lovely and I can highly recommend the trattoria at the end of the street. Also, the location is great.

The only real problem we had was that they tested my credit card by taking a $1 transaction prior to arrival without telling me that they would do this - their company name 'sweet dream's came up and of course I didn't recognise it so my bank and I agreed that it was probably an un-authorised transaction testing the card and we cancelled it - stress I didn't need and time I didn't have two days prior to a trip to Europe! Maybe be aware of this if you book this hotel.

If I were looking for a hotel in Verona in this price range then I'd be happy to stay here again.

Thank you for the feedback, it's important for us to receive comments from our guests.. to always improve our service.
Our beds are high-quality, not too soft, as the italian standard; but I take note about your comment and discourse about it with the Direction.
For the noise, we are sorry: the walls are not so thin but, as you can understand, sometimes people are not so quite and make too noise in the room. We're sorry, believe me, because we always want our guests sleep in our rooms as at their home.
The last thing: before the arrival of our guests we always test the credit card's details given to guarantee the bookings. We charge € 1,00 and then refund it. This operation takes us at about one minute. You were so fast stopping it and we couldn't refund it. But when you were here, we did it. We are sorry about what happened, but this is the only way to test credit cards. And for us this process is important to guarantee all our bookings.
Despite of what happened, we hope you decide to stay with us again!!

I couldn't agree more with the review TRAVELCHICK48 wrote in October 2012. This is a fine hotel, clean, freshly remodeled, great location, nice staff, very good price. Unfortunately, the ordinary noises made by other guests in their rooms and in the hall, along with the waterfall sounds of the plumbing, did not make for a restful night. We finally figured out we needed to turn the heat completely off if we didn't want to be too hot, so if you like warmth in winter, this hotel is for you. Of course, maybe it was just our room in particular. A peephole in the door would have been nice. children next door kept knocking on the door and we kept thinking it was ours. Note: even though it's close to the train station, it is a 10 euro cab ride. A city bus is available, but we didn't feel like it with luggage in tow. We felt like it was too far to walk with luggage.

Room Tip: Maybe a room on the top floor wouldn't experience the loud plumbing sounds.

Dear Sirs, thank you for the kind words about our service.
We are sorry about the noise from the other rooms: sometimes the guests are not polite and not so quite :-( We usually have no problems with noises from the street or from the other rooms, but we understand the problem (explained also by other guests, as you wrote) and we're sorry.
Despite that, we hope you decide to come back to Verona and stay with us again!
Thank you!

We stopped off in Verona for one night and stayed here. The hotel were decorating our floor and I politely asked if we could stay on another floor, Giovanni was more than helpful and offered to move us next door to the giulietta apartment for no additional cost... Lest just say I was more than pleased to accept. Great 2 bedroom apartment with huge bathroom and two balconies. Stayed in a 4* in London the week prior to this and g&r was far better! Giovanni was also very helpful with directions etc... Breakfast was nice.

Thanks for the compliments!!! All our staff works very well.. but you're right: Giovanni is very very kind and helpful. He thanks you from the bottom of his heart :-)
Residence Giulietta is so large and nice: when we can do it, we upgrade our guests and accommodate them there. We are happy you appreciate it!
All our staff hopes to see you again!
Thanks!
