“Perfectly located in the heart of historic Verona”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 6, 2013

We stayed here in May 2013 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This is a smallish hotel located in the heart of historic Verona, just a few minutes walk from the Arena and the other major sites. It is located in a quiet sidestreet and in a quiet area so there is no traffic noise at night and little traffic passing the door during the day.
The hotel is very clean and modern. We booked a double room which was of a very generous size. In fact it is hard to find anything to complain about. Maybe the breakfast did not quite live up the standard of the rest of the hotel. The breakfast room is also rather small and is probably undersized compared with the number of rooms. It was frequently crowded at peak times in the morning.
The double room we stayed in was EUR260 per night including the breakfast. Even though we had nothing to complain about with the room and the hotel itself, I find this rather expensive. I have no idea how this matches the going rates for the rest of Verona.
A final little tip: if asked, the hotel staff may try to direct you to the little restaurant next door for lunch or dinner if you arrive at an odd time and don't want to go too far. Avoid this- there are far better restaurants a short walk away towards the Arena.

The hotel is quite centrally located, near the old city. The property is rather non-descript and one may feel closeted initially. But the rooms are quite modern and comfortable with all the usual amenities provided. First thing you wanna do is read the Hotel Directory. There are lots of freebies and info which one doesnt see upfront. The staff is quite friendly even though not much visible. Breakfast room is rather small but adequate, considering it IS a 3-star property. The rates of 250E a night may appear outrageous during Vinitaly but this is an example of true capitalism-it was totally booked during those days! (the delicious aperitifs served in the evening was a warm and welcome gesture though)There are plenty of trattorias around. City center is at a walking distance. Highly recommened if you are a budget traveller and looking for a decent accommodation at around 100-120 e when available. Quiet atmosphere. What I loved was that the free wi-fi worked like a charm and they give you the password as you check in.

Room Tip: Check out the Hotel Directory as soon as you enter.

Stayed here for one night as part of a group of three. We had a small suite type room, with one large bed and one converted couch in a separate area. The bathroom was really large with a tub and shower. Beds were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was crowded around 9, but there were plenty of options. The wifi worked well, but most of the time dropped off my devices as soon as you stop using it. So, every time you want to get back on a password and login had to be reentered. Annoying. And, you can only use one device with a login at a time, so ask for multiple logins if you have different devices. It's only a short walk to Piazza Bra and other main areas of historic Verona.

If you are looking for a mid-range hotel in central part of Verona, this hotel might be ok. The hotel has almost no parking facilities. The breakfast capacity is very bad and the hotel standard is between 2 and 3 stars.

We had a long weekend away in February and stayed here after a lot of research for Verona hotels! It's a small unassuming building from the outside but nicely refurbished and modern on the inside. We had a superior room with a very comfortable bed and loads of space. A nice bathroom with a shower and a sort of hallway/dressing room bit where the wardrobe was. The only thing we didn't have was any drawers.

We managed to mess up the combination lock system on the safe and the staff were really helpful in trying to sort it out. They even offered to replace the safe! The young lady on reception was exceptionally helpful, with suggestions for where to eat and places to see and always a smile.

Breakfast was the standard continental self serve affair but the selection and quality was good.

The centre of old Verona was a 5 to 10 minute walk and the location was very quiet. Overall a good value clean and comfortable hotel in a good location. We would definitely stay here again.
