We stayed here for 2 nights after travelling up from Venice...The reason i picked this hotel was because it is about a 6 min walk from the train station...We found the hotel fine....The room was nice...not too big but not too small either...The bathroom was pretty spacious...We got a map off the man in reception and he told us where the bus stop was for the bus into Verona its not that far prob 5 mins on the bus im sure you can walk it too :) Theres a charge for wifi...Then we went to Lake garda the next day so we only had to walk back to the train station got our tickets in there €12 each return and headed up To Desenzano and then stopped in Sirmione for a hour on the way back...But best thing about the hotel had to be the breakfast...nicest continental breakfast so far...:) There was just so much to choose from...ham, cheese, bread rolls, toast ,fresh brown soda bread,2 different juices, tea, coffees, cereal, yogurts, fresh fruit, crossaints, madeira cake and more...it was so fresh and staff made sure that everything was topped up...

Close to the railway station and airport shuttle bus, just a short, 10 minute level walk.
Quiet neighbourhood, could sleep with the window open.
Friendly efficient staff at the desk
Only 20 minute walk to city and all the "sites"
Good breakfast and could sit outside to eat it.
Room had nearly everything you could want, draws, cupboard,s desk, lots of lights, shower, bidet tisues, TV A/C
BUT
It was a tiny room sutible for smallish people, say 65Kg and 170 cm tall.
The bed was small, short, and uncomfortable, it made both our backs ache by morning.(room 105)
There was no tea/coffee making in room despite the booking site saying there was (Venere)
The fridge didn't work properly and did not chill the drinks or make ice.
The shower was so small you really could not bend down to pick up the soap if you dropped it!
Almost a very nice room ( for small people) but for what I paid, well over 100 euros a night, poor value for money.

Room Tip: Avoid room 105

Dear Guest,
I really want to thank you for your good review of our Hotel Martini!
I thank you too for report the little mistake on Venere site: the facilities for tea and coffee are in the main lobby, not in each room: tomorrow I will call to fix this inaccuracy.
About the dimension of beds and shower, obviously they are designed for 'standard' people. If you are very tall usually you better indicate it making the reservation. Of course it is more easy (and more cheap, trust me...) to indicate such information if you book directly the Hotel rather than throught a website like Venere.
Thank you very much again!

We stayed for 4 nights in August, the weather was so hot, it was easy to carry the luggages from the train station to hotel for 8 minutes walk. Less than 20 mins.walk to the Arena and center. Good buffet breakfast start at 7 a.m. good for catch up earlier flight. There are cafes/bars and supermarket near the stadium not far from hotel. Ask receptionist for direction. They are very helpful and friendly. We would like to stay again.

Room Tip: We stayed at the back of the hotel facing tennis courts and trees, very quiet!!!

I stayed here for 2 nights with my friend. We arrived at reception and were greeted by 2 very nice people who checked us in. We saw when we booked this hotel that parking was €8 per night but people just a heads up there is free parking just outside the door which is perfect so if your like us and were happy to walk everything just leave the car outside the hotel and dont go bac to it till yer heading off. The room was lovely and spacious. We were given instructions on how to get to the castle and main areas and it was about a 15 min walk. Def not worth getting a taxi too unless on the way home if its dark but this hotel is in a great place that your far enough from town not to be disturbed by the noise but close enough to walk. We had booked with breakfast but slept in each morning. I cant complain in any way about this hotel The staff were great ( Especially the gentleman night porter who didnt mind serving us a few more drinkies at 3am)!!! Great bus service to and from the Opera aswell.

That hotel is quiet near from the central station (railways and buses)...about 7 minutes by walk. Down town is at about 10 minutes by buses. That hotel is kleen, the people in the front desk are polite and can give informations in english, the breakfast is good enought, but the timing is a quiet short, it finished at 10 o'clock, and one day we miss it, because of our opera was finished too late..but that hotel propose a coach to go and return to and from Arena, and that is very great !
