We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour of Verona with Sylvia who shaped the three hour guided tour around our interest in Verona's history. We spent some time at Basilica San Zeno where Sylvia told the story of this beautiful church and its art works. I would say without hesitation that our morning with Sylvia was one of the highlights of our six week European holiday. Like other Trip Advisor readers I had decided to book after reading the positive reviews. We were certainly not disappointed.

The walking tour of Verona provided by Silvia of Colors of Italy was by far the highlight of our stay there. Silvia skillfully lead us to many important sites, took us down uncrowded side streets, pointed out architectural and historical features and facts that we would never have known about without the benefit of her knowledge and expertise. The pace of the tour was relaxed and, although we covered a lot of ground in our two hours together, we probably could have kept going for another two hours since we enjoyed it so much. We really felt like we'd seen Verona after we finished our tour with her. It was so nice to get away from the crowded tourist areas for the morning and learn about the rich history of the city. We highly recommend this walking tour to anyone wanting to really see and learn about Verona. Thank you again Silvia!

We recently returned from a trip to Italy and our tour with Sylvia from Colors of Italy was certainly a highlight. We got off to a late start after eating lost, but Sylvia was very accommodating. She is from the area, well educated and knowledgeable on the history of the area. We visited a winery in Valpolicella in the afternoon. Small family owned winery called Fratelli Vogadori - we enjoyed the tour and loved the wines - had a case shipped home. Sylvia recommended a great place for lunch, and we enjoyed talking to her also during lunch. If you are going to Verona, we highly recommend this tour!

We had a lovely tour of Verona and the countryside with Elisa. Even though it was a rainy December day, Elisa was cheerful, showed us lots of interesting sights that we would not have found on our own. We also really enjoyed learning about life in Italy in a way that isn't usually possible with a more formal tour. Leading up to the tour, Colors of Italy could not have been more accommodating in helping us structure exactly the right tour for our limited time. And the price was VERY reasonable compared with other options. I would highly recommend COI anytime!

Even if the day weather was bad we spent a nice day together, visiting charming corners of Verona and Lake Garda! The town and its countryside are nice not only in summer; the best seasons to visit it are springtime and fall! Thank you for your visit, hope you'll have the time to come back and see more! Elisa

We hired [Sylvia] for a half day while visiting Verona in the lead up to New Year’s and found her very professional and extremely knowledgeable. We would recommend her to anyone considering any kind of tour of the city, its sights or the surrounding region, including the wine country.
