“Would go back again and again”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 14, 2013

Verona is a beautiful city, romantic, cultural and very very crowded narrow streets...still there is also some heavy shopping to be done! I could go back to experience the opera as it was not possible during this trip, but where I would definitely go back again and again, would be to this excellent hotel! Every city should have one. The finesse and courteousness which were treated to, are second to none! The room was ample and appropriately decorated with warmth. The breakfast a banquet of kings! But to top it all, free Prosecco during breakfast and from 1 to 5 pm with nibbles. Need I say more? Oh yes...perfect location! Do not miss this jewel!

Room Tip: Room 120 has a private court yard with rattan furniture....very cosy for a last cigarette before bed...

We went last year for a couple of days and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, with very helpful staff and very good accommodation. The location is excellent.
This year, we stayed for one night, taking our son, daughter in law and their two month old baby. The hotel was just as good.
Both stays were in late September. I recommend the hotel strongly.

Have recently had a two day stay in this hotel and couldn't fault it except the receptionist staff. Our suite wasn't ready when we arrived and no one suggested a drink although we were asked to wait twenty minutes. It was a porter who found out when the room was ready. Reception staff didn't bother to tell us. We also found out when we read the info when we got into the suite that free drinks were available on arrival. Shame really because the rest of the staff were excellent. The food in the restaurant was excellent and we were sorry it was closed on the second night we were there. Breakfast was excellent and waiters obviously took pride in their job. Everything was clearly labelled and because I am lactose intolerant they showed me what foods I could safely eat. In fact we preferred the breakfast there to the Cipriani in Venice which was our next stop. The suite was beautiful and it was good to see a tea/coffee tray.

Booked this hotel online. So happy when we checked in. Very well situated to many of Verona's attractions. Excellent service, beautiful room. Breakfast and afternoon tea looked forward to each day. Enjoyed a wonderful meal in the hotel's restaurant-suggest reservation be made.Would stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: We had a very quiet room with windows opening to the courtyard.

We spent 5 nights at the Accademia in Verona in September as we explored Verona and nearby towns and sites. We couldn't be happier with the choice we made to stay at the Accademia. The hotel is ideally situated as nothing in the centro storico is more than a 10 or 15 minute walk. Everything about our experience at the hotel was very satisfying, from the comfortable rooms with spacious bathrooms, the breakfast spread and the evening bar. But more importantly, the staff was exceptionally helpful and solicitous. Whether it was the staff at the front desk who helped us deal with the complications of parking a car in Verona, making arrangements with restaurants, providing information about activities in Verona or the very engaging bartenders who mixed the best Aperol spritzes and martinis in Italy (and who also help with the breakfast service), everyone we dealt with demonstrated the perfect blend of professionalism and charm.

Room Tip: Because the hotel is in the centro storico and is on a tiny street I don't think there are any u...

We were made very welcome at this Central Verona Hotel. Staff were most friendly with help to our room with luggage. Room was rather dark, though very comfortable. as it overlooked a rear courtyard. bathroom was clean too. Breakfast was very good, ample selection
for the many different tourists who use the Hotel. Location is perfect , walking distance to all the many interesting areas and attractions of this busy place. it's good to window browse and note the prices in the various designer shops nearby.
There are numerous eateries, though as the weather is turning a little colder, the overhead heaters in the outside cafe bars is much appreciated.
