As others have said, this is a comfortable hotel in a great location, just off the main shopping street Via Mazzini and midway between Piazza Bra and Piazza Erbe. Our room was spacious, with a king-size bed, loveseat, chair, coffee table, and desk. The bathroom was very modern and clean. The breakfast room was large, and the buffet was good. In the lobby there are several nice, comfortable seating areas. Others have said that complimentary drinks and snacks are served in the afternoon, but unfortunately no one at the hotel told us about this and I was not aware of it until I read about it on TripAdvisor later. While this hotel is great if you are just going to be walking around Verona, it may not be the best choice if you are going to be using Verona as a base for driving day trips to other cities, as we did. Driving to and from the hotel and the highway is tricky on very narrow, one-way streets in the old city, and the car GPS cannot tell you which streets may be closed off or have driving restrictions. We ended up with an expensive ticket for inadvertently driving on a restricted street. Also, each time you arrive or depart with your car, someone from the hotel has to walk with you to the garage a block and a half away to open the garage. The charge for using the parking garage is something like 23 Euro per night. In hindsight, we would have been better off staying in a hotel with a more direct route to the highway. The old part of the city is small enough that you can get around easily enough from any location.

Great location in the middle of old town. Difficult to find, even with GPS, due to tiny one way streets surrounded by 4-5 story buildings. Finally just parked the car and my bride found the hotel and brought back the bell boy to guide us the last couple blocks. Very clean with attentive staff. Wonderful breakfast. Easy walk to everything you would wish to see. We would definitely recommend.

The Accademia is a very good hotel situated in the centre of Verona, The rooms are extremely well furnished with free very good WiFi and Aircon , the staff were professional and pleasant and the restaurant was extremely good. The situation of the hotel is between the two main Piazzas (Del Erbe and Bra) and both a within 5 mins walking distance. One point for anyone travelling from Ponte Nuevo railway station is you will need to take a taxi to the hotel (approx 10 Euros) as it's slightly far to walk with luggage

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Accademia for 3 nights in September 2012, and had an outstanding experience. Every facet oi the Hotel was exceptional - - the room, the breakfast, the location, midway between Piazza Bra and Piazza Erbe, and especially the staff. They were the best !! And Verona itself was a wonderful surprise. What a great place to visit. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Room Tip: Standard double room was our choice, and was excellent.

This hotel is beautiful inside. The rooms are very large by European standards, the bed was very comfortable and the staff is excellent. The parking is a couple of blocks away and you have to have a hotel staff member accompany you because it is a locked garage. Verona is an absolutely fabulous location for seeing the wine country or going to Parma, Modena or Blogna. The hotel is reasonably priced and close to everything.

This is an amazing hotel, it is unfortunate we were only able to stay for 1 night. The location is fantastic, near everything you would want to see. The hotel is very well maintained, everything looked immaculate. The service from everyone from the concierge, reception, housekeeping and the breakfast team was very attentive. Our room was lovely and had all of the required facilities. The breakfast offered a good range of food. All in all a faultless stay that we would love to repeat at some point and would definately recommend to others.
