I live in Verona, and I recommend Redentore to everyone - both tourists and locals. It is located in a beautiful spot, few meters from the Roman Theatre, with a view on the Adige river, the Ponte Pietra and the palaces of the Bishop of Verona. The building used to be a church, now it's a pizzeria and kept its name ("the saviour"). In summer you can eat outside on the porch, and enjoy this great view. In winter, the inside is nice as well.
The pizza is really very good, and the food too. Every day you get a different list of specials, which I recommend because they are usually especially fresh and good. The food is simple and genuine, simply good because of the good quality.
Prices are absolutely honest.
