It had been ages since I had watched "La Bohème" - the whole Opera, actually, as you usually do, even if on the telly. This performance refreshed my memory and added something new and also suitable to my daughter, aged 13, who had never been to any Opera theatre before.
The message conveyed by Puccini's music gets to your heart in a soft and human way. The performance inside an Italian Palazzo rather than on the stage makes it even easy to grasp, and the selection of the Aria's, Duetto's and Quartetto's made by "Villa InCanto" just makes the most of it.
I truly liked it and my daughter enjoyed the whole event, I think we will always remember it as a unique experience.
