“Good place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 30, 2012

Clean, quite rooms, breakfast was good and the location was extremely convenient for the city centre.
Not a place for great views from the rooms but the staff at the front desk were excellent and very helpful.

This hotel is good. Stayed 4 nites. Rooms are more than adequate, clean and quiet. Breakfast is fine. The staff met all our needs. They have parking but it is like driving into the catacombs. They assign you a guide for getting in an out. Parking costs about 20 Euro/nite (ouch). Driving in and out of Verona is not that bad, but don't try it without a GPS.

The location is perfect for exploring the city center. It is about a 20 min walk to the train station (which we used for visiting Vicenza).

I didn't appreciate at all that they went ahead and charged my credit card also for another colleague I was traveling with even though I asked them not to. Their "too late" response was infuriating I have to admit? Other than that a basic hotel with a poor breakfast also. If you watch your credit card, the rest is OK

A great little hotel located in a quiet side of the street, very close to the Arena and all the tourist attractions, 15 minutes walk from the train station and easy to find. There is a supermarket nearby.

Breakfast was not as bad as we thought, although we've had better. Cleaning service is excellent, always came back with a spotless room, even folded our clothes! Room and bathroom are small but not too bad. We had a mini balcony so it was nice to have some sunshine into the room. Extremely helpful staff, speak very good english.

p.s there is a great restaurant called something 'napoli', very good food and good value, full of local people. Turn left when you leave the hotel and turn immediate right, keep walking and turn left, you'd reach it in about 5-10 minutes. That was the best meal we had in the touristy Verona.

Perfectly located right at the entrance to old town. Within walking distance of all the sites in Verone. Beautiful hotel - spotless and spacious. Excellent value for the money. Fell in love with Verona and Hotel San Luca!

Modern hotel in quiet side street, literally just a few metres from the main tourist part of old Verona - so can't be faulted on that count. Has air conditioning and double glazing and my room (double for single occupancy) was 'compact' but okay for one person. I didn't have any noise problems.

Apart from the location, other benefits are free wi-fi (good signal), modern bathrooms, friendly staff who speak good English and a spacious lounge if you just want to chill out. Also has a bar - but, with so many great places to eat and drink in Verona, who drinks in the hotel?

Have yet to find a hotel in Italy that does good breakfasts and this was about average. No evening meal (not that that worried me). Certainly would stay there again if I'm ever back for work or a weekend break.

Hotel San Luca was a fabulous place to say.

The room was adequate, staff friendly and it provided a fantastic base for exploring Verona.

It is centrally located and easy to find. Great walking distance from the train station.

As a single traveler I found the hotel just perfect, in a quiet safe side street with numerous restaurants very close by.

The room was clean, the shower fantastic.

The only limitation was the breakfast - it was adequate, but I have had better.
