“Step Right Into History”
Reviewed October 4, 2012

What a delightful surprise to walk into this small Piazza, and realize all the history that surrounds you. Just beautiful.

“A touch of quiet awe”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

One can imagine tourists bent on buying trinkets finding nothing of value in Piazza Signori especially after Piazza Erbe, but that would miss the point. This is a place to pause in the rush of visiting the list of sites. There is Dante, regal and straight. There are the frescoes and the wonderful buildings. There are folks ambling, slowing down for a moment in their hurry to get to someplace "important". This is Verona, real without polish. On every side there are porticos leading to something interesting, as well. Stop by and stop.

“Least Touristy Piazza”
Reviewed September 26, 2012

Be sure to continue on through Piazza Erbe to Piazza Signore! We enjoyed bringing a soccer ball here with the kids. It was an amazing evening to see everyone from local toddlers to little old Italian ladies with canes shuffling to kick the ball as they passed!

“A real feel for Italy”
Reviewed August 15, 2012

This area is so quaint and our favorite restaurant is there; Antico Cafe Dante. The square has a real Italian feel and you will not feel like a tourist.

“You can touch the ages.”
Reviewed August 14, 2012

It is as crowded as any bigger city's piazza in Italy in the summer. Not huge, but every piece of it tells the story. You never have enough od watching those marvels: palaces, monuments, fountains, towers and arches. For me the best time to stroll around was a late dinner time. Tourists are in the restaurants and you have all piazza just for you.
