While visiting the castle we took a walk over this bridge, gives a great sense of medieval times in Verona, plenty of tourists taking photos, nice walk over the bridge & back

Understand it’s been repaired and rebuilt but really gives a feel of the medieval past. Small but full of character

Located close to the castle has nice views to and from the city. Ideal to combine it with a visit to the castle to understand it’s importance and strategic location.

Do not miss this amazing bridge and castle. The museum holds statues from 14 AD and 15 AD as well as paintings from the 14th century.

Walk slowly over the bridge, enjoy the view and sit for a while in the park on the other side of the river. If you have prepared a lunch snack, you can eat it on a bench in the park and it is really nice and quite. Watch people passing by and the river roll on. Very nice.
