“a great photo opportunity”
Reviewed November 13, 2012

even if it's raining, it's still a great bridge... We were there at the weekend, but the market was not in place - perhaps it doesn't happen in off season or when it's rainy.

Still, a very pretty bridge with great photo oppotunities with the castel vecchio next to it.

“Do not miss it!”
Reviewed October 18, 2012

Beautiful views, even without stepping on a bridge. But once you do, it's absolutely lovely.
Red walls with "windows" where you can sit, enjoy the view of the Adige River, or listen to the music (there is often a musician playing on the bridge, we enjoyed recently his classical guitar performance - his choice of music is perfect for the setting!).
You can just sit, relax and watch the world go by.
When you continue your walk, you reach the part of the bridge from which you can see the inner courtyard (to the left and then to the right), visit the Castelvecchio museum, or just admire the construction of its tall walls.
Romantic for couples, and interesting for young children (little wannabe knights ad princesses). Recommended!

“An authentic slice of Renaissance Italy”
Reviewed October 13, 2012

In it's day, this bridge joined the two sides of Verona. Beautiful views from the bridge. Don't miss the museum on the Castello Vecchio grounds.

Go with the flow on a weekend morning or afternoon. You'll see families, romantic couples, bicyclists ... and there are so many great vantage points for photo-taking.
