The views of the castle and the city are great at night. It is also more peaceful than during the day when it is full of tourists.

Impressive architecture, nice views down the river and of the castle - lovely to wander across. I imagine it might get crowded in summer but at the end of October it was a delightful amble!

This bridge goes from the castle to the other side of the river. Very impressive. It was hard to believe it was totally rebuilt after the war because it looks so authentic.

The bridge and Castle are a very impressive and harmonious combination. Great views from the bridge and of the bridge from the riverbank.

The bridge is a little more ornate than the other bridges. The walkway has several places to stop and take pictures or just watch the rushing water go under.

The bridge invites you to take pictures and you can climb up everywhere and touch everything. Unfortunately this leads to a lot of stones being removed or broken off. There should be provision for the bridge to be preserved before tourism will destroy it completely.

A great little walk to cross the river and behold the Castelvecchio from the other opposite river bank. Combine it with a visit to the Arsenale Franz Josef and it is time well spent. Nothing too strenuous and within easy walking distance of the center..

It is worth your while to stroll here and admire the view from the bridge and it's brickwork. You get a feeling of bring brought back in time.

I really liked this old castle (no pun intended) not for its extreme ancient architecture, just because it provided us with a nice slow paced walk framed by some very beautiful views over the Adige river.

There were also a few surprises along the way, including: a wall of lovers padlocks, which was quite colorful, the extent that some people go to is really extraordinary there were some padlocks hanging high up in the light fittings; and at the time in the “open air museum” area just beyond the Ponte di Castelvecchio, an exhibition of over 1000 different types of mushrooms that were cultivated in the surrounding areas around Verona.

It fascinating what you can find away from the big ticket touristy stuff.

I like that pictures are very bright there. Nice view on the city and no so many tourists there. Good to see!
