We dined here as a family of four recently. Initially I was a bit put off as thought it was going to be touristy and pricey, being fairly centrally located (and we were a bit tired of paying tourist prices for ordinary meals) and looking more like restaurant that some of the surrounding cafe/trattorias. What a pleasant surprise. it wasn't cheap, but no pricier than the others, and the food was beautiful - I had linguine funghi with fresh porcini mushrooms which is just about the best pasta i've ever had! The rest of the family loved their meals - pizza and mussels. The service was courteous and timely.
Only thing I hate is that they still allow smoking in Europe in outdoor restaurants - yuk!
Would definitely recommend

We enjoyed this accidental find, just off the most-beaten path. More unusual menu choices than the standard tourist fare, and all of our selections were delicious, especially the fish.

We came across this restaurant purely by chance and were not disappointed. My wife and I went for lunch. The pizzas were excellent - the best we had in Verona. The service was great, and prices were reasonable. Worth a visit when in Verona.

This Italian restaurant was situated in a quiet side street in the centre of the old district. It has a "King Arthur" name although the only link we could see was the naming of some of the pizzas! It's quite small with a row of 2-seat tables along the wall, probably seating about 25 in total. Decorated in a modern yet stylish way, they serve a variety of foods from pizza to more traditional Veronese fare. We didn't book, and were the only couple in there early on a Thursday evening, though we noticed the next night they were full. Our solitude was to our benefit, as we got the full attention of the staff, who were all excellent; they spoke good English and knew their stuff, recommending food and wine which was all very nice indeed. Cost for the evening was €90 which included 2 glasses of Amarone, the local red wine which is expensive (due to its manufacturing process) but gorgeous! Overall, we thought good value.

We went there last year with customers and it was great. Returning this year was a whole other experience. it was beyond awful. We waited over and hour for any food at all and more than an hour a half for our main courses. We sent back the first course as my tuna tartare was BROWN. The meat was not cooked properly (it had the strangest texture ever) and was completely unseasoned.

Their glassware was chipped. they didnt have the wines on their wine list. The service was terrible and slow and the food was horrendous.

Choose any other restaurant in Verona or even a piece of candy from the tabacchino and your money will be better spent.

Thank you for taking your time to review our restaurant. We are sorry to hear that your last visit was not great as the previous one. The team of our restaurant works hard to maintain high standards of both food and service and we are concerned that you feel that this is not the case.
