Agli Abbaini gives you an authentic old-world experience. Old wood floors, old furniture, old doors with skeleton keys, but it is spotless and the bathrooms have been updated. The host, Silvia, is absolutely wonderful and helpful. She makes breakfast for everyone in the morning and each day she serves something different- coffee, juice, pastry, fruit, cheese, and usually a traditional Italian dish of some type (often hot). We were on the third floor facing the street with no balcony and our bath was private, but not ensuite. The view of the town is awesome and there is little street noise. The floors can be creaky, but all of the other guests were conscious and considerate of that. It added to the charm of the experience. We had dinner every night in the breakfast room with the double doors open to view the city- great. It is an easy walk into old town and there is a City Sights tour bus stop close by. There are local markets, shops, and restaurants close by. We highly recommend this B&B.
