Been there last year and still didn't manage to forget this place.... The view is just breathtaking, the room is very nice, and the owner cooked for us the best huge breakfast ( including omelet, pancakes AND tiramisu ) ever !
I recommend this place with all my heart.

Agli Abbaini gives you an authentic old-world experience. Old wood floors, old furniture, old doors with skeleton keys, but it is spotless and the bathrooms have been updated. The host, Silvia, is absolutely wonderful and helpful. She makes breakfast for everyone in the morning and each day she serves something different- coffee, juice, pastry, fruit, cheese, and usually a traditional Italian dish of some type (often hot). We were on the third floor facing the street with no balcony and our bath was private, but not ensuite. The view of the town is awesome and there is little street noise. The floors can be creaky, but all of the other guests were conscious and considerate of that. It added to the charm of the experience. We had dinner every night in the breakfast room with the double doors open to view the city- great. It is an easy walk into old town and there is a City Sights tour bus stop close by. There are local markets, shops, and restaurants close by. We highly recommend this B&B.

Room tip: The corner room on the third floor facing the street has the best view, is ensuite, and has a balcony.

we stayed here for 3 nights. bed was comfortable, Silvia's hosting was nice. (it's better if you can speak Italian a lil) and the view from the balcony is simply fantastic. (took a lot of photos there) breakfast was awesome. I drank so much coffee :) however the elevator(lift) was a lil scary. and you might need to ask to get here from the airport by public transit, or take a taxi. (cuz google map is saying different than the real transit line) but the location of hotel was good. 2~3 min walking distance to Ponte Pietra, very close to every touristic spots in Verona.

We chose this because we wanted to be near the city and river and not too expensive. We had a bit of trouble finding it, but got help when we phoned the owner. It's easier to walk to using the foot bridge coming from the East end of Via Ippolito Nievo, rather than the West end. Key landmark is the school yard and soccer field behind a fence across the street from the B&B.

Our room was very clean and spacious. There is ac. We noticed the traffic, but the bed was comfortable. I always travel with ear plugs. Our private bathroom was also large, though across the hall.

Silvia personally prepared a warm, breakfast each morning with coffee, tea and a friendly greeting.

Although we were just outside the city core, the walk across the beautiful, old pedestrian bridge was a treat. I enjoyed the smaller cafes in that river area, including a wonderful gelato shop.

Silvia made our stay a special one.

This is a well-run B&B - just outside - the city centre. When you look at the professional pictures you could get the impression this B&B is in the centre. We felt a little cheated, as you can clearly hear the busy Via Ippolito Nievo at night and will have to turn the aircon on and close the windows to sleep. With that said, the B&B is only 5 minutes walk from the next bridge over the Adige and into the centre. The service is great, we had a late arrival and our host stayed up for us, we got a cup of tea and explanations of the surroundings/ recommended activities at 11pm or so. Great effort.
The room was very large, tastefully decorated with a double-sink bathroom attached.
Please be aware you have to pay for your stay in cash and the nightly rate is not cheap (maybe this is going rate in Verona but we still found it quite high for a B&B). Overall you will not be disappointed with your room or with the great service. OK for a couple of nights in Verona.
