Excellent meal in a very local atmosphere. Every served is locally scorced and fresh, fresh, fresh.
We will go back again.

We were looking for another restaurant in this area but stumbled into this osteria. The waitresses were extremely helpful and translated the menu for us. The food was great, we took the lasagne, horse ragu with polenta, mixed cold meats and house red wine. We sat outside, under the arches with other, mostly Italian, diners out for lunch. Price was reasonable, about €10 per dish. Would highly recommend this osteria.

Try smoked horse (tagliado), it's fantastic. Location of osteria is quite convenient. Serive is nice, waiters have fluent english. Coperto=2euro. Tagliado=14. From drinks only water, vine and beer.

Recommend you to visit this place.

We had read about this Osteria on some website/good book and it is well worth visiting. Small place, but mixed crowd with plenty of locals. Friendly atmosphere. Smallish but interesting menu. I had the horse-stew with polenta (apparently a local delicacy) and it was amazing... by far one of the best dishes I had in Italy! It is very meaty, stewed for a long time so very tender and superbly spiced. We had another decent pasta and a side dish of vegetables was very nice too. Food was reasonably priced (dishes were between 6 and 10 Euros) and well worth the money. The house wine was good and the staff are friendly. We shared a nice chocolate dessert and our total bill was 35 Euros - including coperto etc.

The chef (owner?) recommended another place to us the night earlier as their kitchen had closed by the time we reached. That was good too!
