We reserved a table but neednt have done so, only half the tables were taken. The grilled zucchini arrived lukewarm on the outside and cold in the middle. The server felt terrible and brought a new one, which was hotter and much better. The risotto cakes were quite good, the sea bass in a potato crust very bland, unremarkable and a very small portion. The time between courses seemed interminable. Took over two hours altogether and just wasn't very good.

When they say "tough to find" they mean it. Walked past this place at least 3 times before finally finding it.
Given it's reputation, it's tough to walk up and get a table - but the hosts were amazing! They managed to squeak us in and we had an amazing meal.
Great wine. Great seafood pasta.
Everything you would hope/expect from Italian dining.
Go there (but make a reservation first).

My wife and I had booked this for our first night in Verona and her birthday.A night of pouring rain which added nothing to the evening,we spent a good,or not so good, half-hour stopping under streetlamps in tiny alleys and asking passers by our whereabouts. Finally there we found ourselves in a very intimate restaurant, only 26 covers, run that night by a young couple. Excellent service, good English when needed, although happy ton let me play at Italian!Menu looked fairly traditional but exceptional food, bean and clam soup, delicate and delicious, farfalle alle vongole ( something of a clam theme here ) and a rich and tender roast veal main course, Valpolicella was excellent too so when we left somehow the rain seemed lighter and the roads more direct! Would definitely go back, best of 4 dinners in Verona .

This place took some finding but it was well worth the effort.

We visited on a Monday evening so the dinning room was very quiet which I found ominious but I needn't have worried. We were served by the owner who was extremely attentive while not crowding us which can often happen.

The food was traditional of Sorrento & was out of this world.

Sumptuous & cozy decor. Rich red walls. Much of the staff speaks English well and the menu is bilingual. Food was delicious. Sea bass in veggie broth was particularly delightful. One of my best meal in Italy. Wine is a bargain. For 3.5 euro, I received a 1/4 liter of a very nice house wine. I highly recommend this place.
