Food, service and ambience were all superior. I had the codfish appetizer that was gorgeous. My husband was equally pleased with his beef tartare. For a main course he had the turbot with olive "crust" which I sampled and liked even more than my own dish, the scampi. We were also treated to the ricotta gnocchi--which the waiter brought complimentary. It was incredible. If I return to Verona I will be getting that gnocchi. We had the Corte Canella Valpolichella--is it too over the top to call that a life-changing moment? OMG. My new favorite wine.
