This typical family owned restaurant was a nice surprise! We were greeted with a warm smile and served with the kindness of a host who cares about every customer. The food was excellent. We had a simple and yet wonderful appetizers with local cured meats and polenta. The first course was a local home made thick spaghetti with duck meat ragu and was delicious. The second course was a filet mignon with Amarone wine sauce which was perfect, and a boiled stew of different meats with a special Verona sauce with black pepper and bread crumbs, something I had never tasted before, which was fantastic. The price was right for this excellent food and service.
