My friends and I stayed at this hostel for just one night. We shared a triple room. It was very cheap and the location was brilliant. Now don't expect luxury by any means, it is a hostel. Our room was clean, we had an ensuite bathroom which was perfect and immaculate. The walls were thin but we were safe and comfortable here. Reception was lovely. The breakfast wasn't nice and the coffee was awful. However for the price and location I didn't mind getting breakfast elsewhere. We walked from and to the train station Porto nuova easily.

Absolutely fantastic location, right at the beginning of Verona 's attractions and therefore also close to the train station (20 minutes to half hour walk), 3 minutes from the nicest restaurants in the city (vicolos just south of the Castle) and really clean rooms. Average self serve cold breakfast (could be more options for non dairy eaters) and friendly desk staff. Incredibly, during my stay they were doing heavy renovations (power drill and hammering) from at least 7:30 AM in the hallway right outside the room. So be prepared to wake up early or maybe check to ensure the renovations are done.

This is a typical 'albergo', ie. pension, not really a hotel, so if you do not expect luxury & can cope with thin walls and a little improvisation in way of plumbing and electric wiring, it is a great place - very central, nice staff and a very good breakfast, concerning the price. Parking is possible in nearby (payable) garages, and there are some bars etc. around, not to mention the delights of the old city.

Excellent location. Stone's throw away from Castelveccho and 5 minutes to the Arena and Piazza Bra. Friendly staff, decent breakfast. Poorly maintained facilities. The sink/wash area inside the single room (with shared bathroom) made the room smell damp and moldy. Too expensive for what it is. Good I moved to a different hotel that was much less expensive and with better facilities.
