We stayed in a Junior Suite on the second floor. I love that the room décor was bright and mainly white making it look very clean, which it was. It has two bathrooms, which was great and don't believe it mentioned that on the website. I do like the upstairs bedroom with bathroom area and the downstairs living room with bathroom and a pull out sofa bed concept. It does also give you your own private space when travelling with family. The room is spacious and it has a balcony, which faces the small square and also another building which looks residential with lovely flowers so a nice view too. The small square is quiet and clean. The room is very spacious and the air-conditioning was good with flexible temperature settings. The bathroom amenities were good too. The receptionist service was friendly and helpful as well as they provided restaurant recommendations. The hotel is pricey but it doesn't have a pretentious feeling, it is sophisticated but still has a home like feel. Free breakfast and afternoon buffet was nice. Although it can get crowded, but if you can have breakfast earlier or slightly later it's fine. Eitherway, it flows pretty well. The Una café set up looks nice, elegant, white and clean. The café service is good compared to service you would get in other restaurants in Venice, but in comparing it to service you would get in the United States it could be better. The area of the hotel is still close enough to St Mark's, but not too close either so it was more quiet and relaxing. The hotel is also very near to the Vaporetto and the shopping steet (the more affordable shopping street) but again it's located very strategically so it's once again away from the noise. It's also located near to the Vaporetto stop to Murano and Burano, which we did visit so this hotel was a perfect location. Another nice thing is if you do like to run in the mornings, it's a nice area to go running along side the Fondamente Nuove, which gives you a long enough stretch to run. The thing about Venice is that it's not as big as it looks on the maps! So everything is relative fairly close meaning a 10-15min walk or at most 30mins or a nice vaporetto ride. Also, if you are healthy and fit, Venice is walkable and you don't even need to hop on a vaporetto! Plus Venice is so beautiful so even if you have walked 30mins or more you don't even realize it until your back at the hotel. In which, the hotel is so comfortable and safe that you feel utterly RELAXED!
