“Good location but thats it”
Reviewed September 13, 2012 via mobile

I was a bit disappointed. We stayed there with iur one year old in a suite. (not ideal with e stairs) we experienced that the staff was pretty cold. Our room didnt get cleaned one day and the second day when it did, it was pretty poor. Pretty nice room though and good location. I probably wouldnt stay there again.

Dear Annikasch,

thank you very much for your review. We take in great consideration all our clients feedback to improve our efficiency and standard.

We carefully checked with our housekeeping and we have found out that your room was not cleaned as there was the do not disturb card notice outside the door.

Your room was cleaned late in the afternoon once the do not disturb sign has been removed.

We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you once again for giving us the opportunity to be more and more guest orientated.

Looking forward the pleasure to welcoming you in the next future, please have our

Best regards

The rooms were spotlessly clean, roomy and very comfortable. The staff were very helpful - especially the maids and breakfast staff. The inclusive breakfast offers a very good choice and all good quality. A special treat is the complimentary afternoon buffet, ie prosecco, mini sandwiches, biscotti, much needed after a long day of sightseeing. Only recommendation for change is to play music in the breakfast room so you don't easily hear other conversations and to turn volume up on the television too
Rather than mute.

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was well placed and only a 5-10 minute walk to the Rialto bridge and a 20 minute walk to St Marco's.
The room was lovely with a really powerful shower. The breakfast was good and plentiful. In the evening, there is a free buffet with nibbles, coffee and wine. Great for having a drink before going out to eat and on returning after an evening out.
I would definitely recommend this hotel as it was good value and very comfortable.

We booked 2 nights at Una Hotels strictly by reading the reviews online and we were not disappointed. This hotel is 2 min off the main street in a quite little square. It is Luxury all the way with great amenities such as complimentary breakfast, slippers, bath robes and even pillow selection. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and the service was superb! The bathrooms are modern with marble walls and European style shower heads. The water pressure is perfect which is very important when you come home from a hot August day of sightseeing. The beds were comfortable and their pillow selection was a nice surprise. We asked for additional goose pillows and a neck roll pillow and within seconds the housekeeping was upstairs with our request. Our room was right by the elevator room 215 and had a nice view of the square.
Breakfast- The breakfast was traditional American Style Continental Breakfast. There was a nice selection of breads, an instant espresso maker with selection if Illy's coffee, eggs, hash brown etc... there was even a selection for gluten free and organic products.

Internet- WiFii Internet is complimentary if you book your stay on their website.

I can't say enough about this hotel. For those who want to book and are coming off the Vaporetto - take line 1 and get off at Ca' Doro stop. Walk straight ahead and make a small left at the main street. It is behind the main street so ask for directions or follow a google maps to find it.

Room Tip: WiFii is free if you book through their website Complimentary snacks, alcohol, refreshing drinks an...

A really lovely hotel with friendly staff and, although small, clean and well maintained rooms. A very convenient location being an easy walking distance from most places. I would recommend buying a good map before you come though, as the one from the hotel was not really detailed enough and we found ourselves getting lost on more than one occasion! Very good breakfast and you can help yourself to coffee, biscuits, fruit, water and Prosecco in the afternoon, which was a much needed refreshment after a day visiting tourist sites in a boiling hot Venice! The air conditioning wasn't fantastic in the room, but it was comfortable enough. Would definitely recommend :)

We stayed in UNA on recommendation of Tripadvisor and were not disappointed.
When wandering through the hustle and bustle of the centre of Venice, we were delighted to turn 2 minutes off the main street and find ourselves in the oasis of calm that was the back streets of the Canareggio district and the hotel, which is situated on a tiny canal on a lovely sunny street.
The hotel is beautifully appointed, clean, well air-conditioned (very necessary given the 35 degree heat!) and a fabulous shower. My husband is a particularly bad sleeper when abroad, and will unreservedly say this is the most comfortable bed, and best nights sleep he had ever had.
Breakfast was delicious with loads of food available, and a particularly nice touch was the afternoon canapes and wine in the breakfast room - a perfect apperitif to dinner.
The staff were friendly, helpful and full of advice about where to eat and what to see.
Would definitely love to visit Venizia again, and if we do it will definitely be to stay in this fantastic hotel!

Mrs Claire,

I am glad you spent a nice holiday in Venice and that you have appreciated the very calm location of the hotel close to the major attraction points all reachable with a pleasant walk through the commercial area of the city surrounded by every kind of shop able to satisfy any need.

Moreover I am pleased of your appreciation of the complimentary buffet offered to all our clients. Our intention is to give the opportunity to our customer to live the hotel as a private house with the possibility to access the dining room and take an aperitif before going to dinner, to taste an Italian self made espresso or to take a cup of tea accompanied by local biscuits.

With the hope that you will choose UNA Hotel Venezia again for your next stay in Venice, please accept my warmest regards

Fantastic hotel in a very quiet canal but minutes away from the main fare. It's a real palazzo from the renaissance era renovated to perfection with all the comfort of today. Rooms are spacious and luxurious with all the modern amenities like iPod docking stations and flat screen LCD TVs. Like having your own little castle in the 21st century!

Room Tip: One bedroom suites on the top floor
