Superb apartment in the center of Venice just 10 minutes from Rialto bridge. Beautifully decorated and fully equipped. 2 king size beds which were very comfy. Very peaceful and tucked away but near everything. Highly recommended.
We rented this apt with another couple for one week in June 2016. It was a beautiful apt, straight out of Architectural Digest. It was the perfect setup for two adult couples. The bedrooms with accompanying bathrooms were on opposite sides of the large living space allowing plenty of privacy. The kitchen was very modern with all the latest appliances and fully stocked with dishes, stemware, mugs, and utensils. There was a separate laundry room/bathroom off of the main room. Location was good. The neighborhood was quiet. All four of us loved it and would easily return tomorrow!

We were enticed to book this very expensive apartment by the website description which stated it was luxurious, prestigious, and a 5 star home suitable for extremely demanding travellers.
It could not be further from the truth.
We were put on alert on entering the building in which the apartment is housed as the common areas were dirty and neglected being in complete disrepair as evidenced by the stained and broken stairway with its hand rail pulled away from the wall and several broken windows.
On entering the apartment itself on a very hot day our first priority was to request the Agent to show us how to operate the Aircon system only to be informed that it was shut down as the owner was of the opinion that we did not need it and that she had no intention of switching it on until later in the year - after heated discussion direct with the owner the following day she sent a plumber to render the system operable however unfortunately for us it broke down on two occasions during our stay resulting in us having to endure several very uncomfortable nights.
However that was a minor annoyance in comparison to the principal issue which was the overall standard of the apartment which by anyone's assessment could not be described as 5 star luxury.
Whilst it is clear that the apartment has been recently renovated however it has been so only to a poor DIY standard. In addition the decoration is of poor quality.
Most annoyingly we had to report the following to the Agent and the owner -
- fine sand from the roof sealant constantly fell from the open roof space resulting in a constant film of dust on every surface.
- shower cubicle in master bathroom leaked badly and flooded the floor on each use
- kitchen window could not be closed creating a security risk
- guest bedroom ensuite - door handle dropped off on first usage
- hot water supply was at best tepid ,
- master bedroom curtains missing - simply a curtain track in place
- TV channels were mostly unavailable,
- CD player missing
- DVD player inoperable as not compatible with the TV.
- iron inoperable
- ironing board cover badly soiled
- coffee machine could not be used as not compatible with the induction hob.
In addition to the above we were alarmed to discover during a rainstorm that each of the 8 windows in the lounge and both bedrooms were not watertight and allowed significant water ingress which had to be stemmed with towels in order to prevent flooding.
Furthermore the rainwater ran down the wall in the guest bedroom ensuite staining it in the process and also ran down the electric light fitting in the master bedroom ensuite dripping water onto the toilet seat.
Whilst some of the above were remedied during our stay, which we welcomed , nevertheless it caused significant disruption and spoiled our quiet enjoyment of the property.
The price for a stay of 1 week was 2800 euros and we have stayed in apartments of significantly better quality for half that price.
Imo a 5 star price for 2 star quality.
