This is one of the restaurants that displays prominently the Tripadvisor ratings and serve excellent food. The few Tripadvisor recommended restaurants that I visited in Italy were forgettable and not worth my review.

Try the tourist set menu which costs around 35 Euros and you could choose a starter, main course and a dessert. This restaurant serves excellent beef carpaccio-- I loved the contrast made in textures and flavors. The gnochetti and other pasta dishes were delicious.

We came across this restaurant by accident one lunch time whilst looking for a wine bar my cousin had read about and wanted to visit which we never found, thank goodness! We were given a light lunch menu and a 'heavy' menu to choose from which all sounded delicious. There were 4 of us and we wanted a bottle of prosecco, the sommelier was very helpful and suggested a very good 'profundo' which was so good we had another! The setting is lovely also as at the end of the lane is a canal and gondolas are passing by all the time. The food was all wonderful and we had such a good experience we booked to return the next evening. We sat outside again and were extremely pleased that we returned as everything was just as good as before, if not better! I really hope we can return again one day!

I had arranged in advance for a romantic dinner with my wife and they delivered over and above. We had a great table looking down to a small canal with a passing series of gondolas complete with singing echoing down the canal. The food was traditional 14th and 16th century Venetian - delicious .... would highly recommend a visit but plan in advance to make the most of it

Our hotel la commedia recommended this restaurant. We ate there 3 times . Loved the delicate receipes. Tried the turbot for 2. Every thing we had was beautifully served. Wine list is extensive, prices average to highly expensive.our bill for 2people around just over 200euros. Would go back to eat again next time in Venice

We stumbled upon this restaurant our first night in Venice. We decided to eat there the last night of our honeymoon and were not disappointed. This was one of the best meals I have possibly ever had. My husband and I live in NYC and love to try new places and great restaurants. This one gave the best here a run for their money.

Definitely worth the splurge! Don't miss it!
