We came here as a group of friends, All italians.
We have negotiated for a set menù, and for 22€. What has been brought was quite disappointing.
Starters were quite small, "spaghetti allo scoglio" were poor, shells were empty and portions again very small.

After several complaints and threating the manager to write bad reviews on social networks, manager has told is that they don't need costumers pubblicity and that they are not afraid of bad reviews.

Do not recommend!

The food was really below average, it is not an expensive restaurant but the staff and the cooking look tired after a busy summer season. All desserts except two are home made, like Crema Catalana !. I would give it a miss, unless you are tired and desperate to eat something. The safe bet, try the pizza.

We've eaten at this restaurant many times over the years, and we've seen it become more and more popular. The first year, reservations were unnecessary, but now they are a necessity on weekends and during the summer. The food is consistently good - although once the seafood in one meal felt a bit meager. The garden is the best place to eat with a lively, social atmosphere, and the whole family always looks forward to coming back. The prices are quite reasonable.

Al Nono Risorto has a lot going for it.

The outside dining is nice in warm humid Venice. The pizza is very good, the wine list short but adequate, the service competent and prices are resonable. The wait people are quite busy so there’s not much opportunity to chat but orders get taken promptly and your meal shows up quickly. There are a lot of people and it can be a little chaotic but that just adds to the experience.

This isn’t fine dining but for good pizza and pasta in a nice setting it is highly recommended.

We went to "Al nono risorto" as a family and a company of friends, and the experience was pretty good. The atmosphere in the restaurant is quite friendly, the decor essential and inspiring, and in the summer and on warm days they open a nice pebbled garden outside, where one can eat. We tried various dishes, and the pastas were overall quite good. My squids a' la veneziana with polenta were really very good, very tender and tasty. Pizzas were also apparently fine, though not special. Desserts not bad at all, in particular the "profiteroles" and the "grandmother's cake". Prices quite honest, above all in a city like Venice. All in all, a nice experience, to repeat.
