I chose this hotel after reading a few reviews...and I found exactly What I expected.
Really charming hotel, very personal and caring staff, exquisite and elegant decor.
The location is a nice, if you don't want to be so in the middle of the fuzz.
The breakfast is outstanding, really elegant and delicious, and with great variety of fruits and paistries.
Our room (5) had Nice views to San Paolo channel, very Nice.
Perfect place to fall in love with Venezia.

Room Tip: I would sugest rooms on the lobby floor, in the second is the bar and the restaurant, might be sort of noisy....

We loved our rather fleeting trip to Venice (just a long weekend) partly because of the lovely, dark glamour of the hotel. Beautifully decorated, with a great location right on the canal, a perfect base for exploring all Venice has to offer.

What a wonderful surprise! The hotel typifies the dreamy, dramatic and romantic essence of Venice with a modern twist. Our room was beautiful, dark and hip. The breakfast was our favorite amongst the 6 hotels (all minimally +4*) that we stayed at during our travels throughout Tuscany, including Florence and Siena. The hotel is small like many boutique hotels in Venice but the experience was grand. Been extremely fortunate to visit Italy numerous times on vacation but Venice is definitely our favorite city and this hotel made it so.

We stayed here for a rare weekend without the children and were made to feel very welcome. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the wet rooms a joy. No bath, but that wasn't missed. We sat on the balcony overlooking the Grand Canal both evenings drinking prosecco, it couldn't have been better. Breakfast delicious and plentiful. The location is perfect, 10 minutes walk from the Rialto, 1 min walk from the water bus stop, in the midst of great restaurants, hidden alleyways and artisan shops, but not too close to the tourist traps.

We stayed here for 2 nights arriving by speedboat taxi from Marco Polo. The entrance is on the Grand Canal. The 'land' entrance is less spectacular at the end of a very long and narrow alley with 2 sharp turns.

However, the hotel is very elegant and with only 18 rooms the service is personal. There is a lovely fragrance throughout the hotel.

We stayed in the Junior Suite (room 1) on the ground floor overlooking the Grand Canal. A fantastic vista was right outside our windows.

We spent long days exploring Venice but it was a comforting thought to know you we're returning to luxury after a tiring day.
