“Fabulous location and fantastic host”
Reviewed October 9, 2012

We stayed six nights in this jewel of a find along a tiny street in Venice. The location is easy walking distance to all the sights and restaurants and even a self serve laudromat! Lorenzo is a wonderful and helpful host. Our room was comfortable and clean and the good breakfast gave us a great start for our days of wandering this beautiful city. We would highly recommend!

Lorenzo was a perfect host. After havings problems with the ATM machine at the airport, I can't even tell you how glad we were to see him at the Vaporetto stop when we got there. He helped make sure that we had a great experence in Venice by providing information on places to eat and information and directions to the sights. He also helped us make our train reservations since the web site was in Italian. This is a great place to stay...close to all the major sights, very clean, with comfortable beds and a good breakfast every morning. We would recommend this B&B to anyone wanting to stay in Venice.

We stayed here for 2 nights of our larger trip over Italy and we found it very good place to spend night in Venice. If you ever been in this city you know that prices of pretty much everything are at least 15-25% higher than in other touristic places of Italy (Rome, Milan, Napoli), so finding this reasonably priced place, in a fantastic location, with a very well furnished rooms, super clean bathrooms, tasty and nourishing breakfasts and last but not least: extremely nice, very well English speaking and helpful host: Lorenzo, was like finding a diamond in the dumpster.
In summary: fully recommendation, especially if you need to keep the budget tight.

Lorenzo was great - he picked us up from the vaporetto stop, gave us great advice (and a good map - essential in Venice), helped us book (at cost of EUR1 each) to avoid the queues at the Basilica, provided a good breakfast and generally made our stay that much easier. The location is great - just far enough to get away from the hordes, but close enough to easily and quickly get anywhere - by foot or by vaporetto. Would recommend to anyone who is watching their budget (because Venice can get expensive) and wants to not be knocked over by the hordes when they walk out the door! Also - Lorenzo serves breakfast to 10am - which gives you time to explore in the mornings before the tour groups / day trippers arrive!

A very comfortable room in a quaint establishment with a marvelous host, Lorenzo, who speaks excellent English, making our stay that much easier. Lorenzo provided simple but effective directions as regards travel from the airport. He then met us at the appointed Vaporetto (water bus) stop, and lead us to his B&B, at the same time, assisting with our baggage. He made us extremely welcome and comfortable, and was at pains to ensure that we would optimise our stay in his City, including handy hints about multi-day passes for the public water transport system. Free wifi, which worked exceptionally well in our room, and very effective aircon, which Lorenzo left running while we we out. Room was always very comfortable to return to after hard day's sightseeing in August temperatures in mid/high thirties. B&B very well located, and with ample choices for restaurants for dinner. Would definitely revisit this B&B on any future trip to Venice.

We had a wonderful stay here in June this year! Lorenzo met us at the boat bus stop and checked us into the room with ease. He had a super breakfast prepared for us the next day and the room was Spectaculor! The was a air-con unit in the room, lwhich Lorenzo was happy to leave on during the day - it was wonderful to come home to a nice cool room after it being so hot outside. To end off a great stay, Lorenzo let us know about a public transport strike on our last day there and helped us figure out how to get to the train station. Thank you Lorenzo for a FANTASTIC stay in Venice. We will stay again when we come back to Venice.
