Yes, this hotel is difficult to find even after staying there a couple of days, but well worth it. We had requested a courtyard view per an earlier review, and out room was quiet at night. The room is small, but comfortable. The full breakfast included was very good. The staff are wonderfully helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations. My only suggestion is to inquire whether you should take the water bus to Saint Marks terminal and find a porter there as taking a water taxi to the nearest stop to the hotel you may not find a porter.

Having read some of the other reviews of this hotel I can see why people find it hard to find. It is tucked away through a narrow passageway in a deserted courtyard. Once you DO find it though it's beautiful. The staff are really friendly, the rooms well decorated (although quite small) and the breakfast delicious. The hotel is only a couple of minutes from San Marco and 5 from the Rialto bridge. The only downside of the location is that you have to drag your luggage through the streets of Venice to get there but that can't be helped. Overall we were unable to fault.

A luxury hotel with the a wonderful staff and great breakfast. The help was appreciated in the severe Easter tourist traffic. Very secure with a relaxed reading room. The twin room was quite spacious. The hotel is hidden it a court yard in the heart of the city. It is 5 to 10 minutes to most the major attractions and shopping. Just be ready to drop bread crumbs or follow a map. Great place to explore but can be very easy to get turned around for the directional challenged.

What can i say! fantastic hotel can find it easy with the map they provide when booking, the staff are very friendly and helpful. This hotel is just a few minutes away from St Marks square and the grand canel yet is situated in a very quite court yard, the rooms are well decorated to a high standard with air con (which is needed in the summer). The hotel breakfast was to a very good standard with plenty of choice, this hotel was good value for money and would be my first port of call when returning to Venice. I would recomend this hotel to anyone.

All I can say is that there are same quality hotels at amucheadier to find location than those eat the se price or better. In Venice you have no taxi service up to the door so hauling your suite cases around looking for a street or hotel no one (not even the locals) have heard of is unacceptable. I am really trying to doubt the validity of all the venice reviews on trip advisor.

Great hotel hidden away in small courtyard only 2 mins walk from Grand Canal and 5 mins from Saint Marco Square , perfect location. Hotel staff were super friendly , helpful and always with smile on their face, and perfect English . Hotel room was newly refurbed and air conditioned , lovely and clean and plenty big enough for us . Breakfast was a lovely well presented buffet of hot/continental breakfast , something for everybody ! When we arrived at airport I realised that i had left my passport/money etc in my rucksack at Hotel reception. I rang the hotel and in no time they arranged for a water taxi to bring my bag to the Quay at the Airport . We just managed to catch our flight , and this was due to the Hotel staff and also the excellent assistance given by groundstaff at the airport .

Room Tip: Take a trip over to the Lido for a few hours for a different experience. When you get to the Lido wa...

Really great rooms however well pricey! But that's Venice?? Really frustrating directions on map should include walk thru hidden tunnel to find rather than walking round hopelessly with local people trying to find with luggage in heat if day! Lucky another couple who were staying there asked us and showed us way, they said you'll never find it!! Overall good but again very expensive!!
