“The perfect place for us”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 8, 2013

My wife and I have been regular visitors to Venice for the past ten years and so have stayed in several hotels there. Our daughter stumbled across this little gem and recommended it to us. It is perfect for us; half way between St. Mark's Square and the Rialto Bridge and only five minutes from each, a minute from the Accademia Bridge, and seconds away from the best ice cream in Venice! The rooms are clean; cool in summer and warm in winter. There is always hot water to shower and bathe tired feet. The Campo it overlooks is just beautiful. Add to all this, Raffaella, the owner, who provides the warmest, friendliest welcome you could imagine. Her local knowledge of the city, its restaurants and culture always contribute to our holiday. After a four night stay, we returned home last night and we are already looking forward to our stay in September.

First of all, Rafaella was unbelievable to us. I emailed her for some information and she went above and beyond. This is a little jem of a hotel. It is very conveniently located - 10 minute walk from St. Marcs Square. It is right off the S. Angelo stop and if you email Rafaella in advance she will give you exact directions. She will also provide the code for access so that you can check in when there is no one there. The rooms are amazing and clean. Everything was really just perfect. The breakfast the next morning is a traditional continental style breakfast with cofffee and orange juice. Just a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Thank you so much Rafaella!

Although hard ot locate at first, Raffaella made our stay very memorable. She took our late booking, and provided us with the "Blue Room" which was very elegant. The restaurants in the piazza San Stefano were excellent. Centrally located to all the tourist sites in walking distance. WiFi was very good as well as the hearty breakfast to start the day. We got engaged in Venice and was a memborable trip!

This is a great little hotel - 6 rooms (some of them very small, but ours was ok). It was great to stay right in a Campo in Venice, next door to the best gelato shop in town (don't miss out on this one). The manager and staff were very friendly and helpful about things to do and how to get there. The rooms were clean and tidy. There is no lift and our room was on the second floor so bear that in mind - especially if you have lots of luggage - there is no porter.

But, I loved staying there, looking out our bedroom window to the square below, and the lovely facade of San Stefano church next door... lovely.

Room Tip: One of the rooms I saw had a double bed up against the side wall, so you might like to make sure you...

My husband and I stayed here one night on a quick trip to Venice. We had written to say we would be arriving after office hours(I think someone is there from 8am-2pm) and Raffaella sent us a code to get in and told us where to park at the ferry and which water taxi to get. Once we got in there was an envelope with our keys and a wifi code and a nice welcome note.
The room was beautiful and had big windows that looked out onto all the activity below us. The hotel was well located and we walked everywhere.
Breakfast was very good and this was when we met our lovely host Raffaella. We enjoyed our meal then had another walk round before checking out. We had a last chat with our host out front as she was coming back from taking her daughter to school for the first day. She suggested we take a Gondola taxi to get across to the other side and we were glad to have had the experience. The service was impeccable and the room delightful.

We stayed one day/night before boarding a cruise ship. Excellent location, very nice accomodations. Raffaella was extremely helpful, and if we ever return to Venice this is definitely where we would want to stay.

We Stayed one night in the hotel and arrived on a very hectic weekend. We came in late and we 've had instructions by mail how to get in . Inside we found a envelop with more detail information . The room was perfect !! We are a family of 5 : 2 adults and 3 children and we got a suite with 2 connecting rooms and 2 bathrooms !! So no discussions who gets the bathroom first :-) ! it was nice to arrive in a airco - cooled room after a long journey. Next morning we got to meet our host : Raffaella , who is a very nice person that loves to answer your guestions . The breakfast was very good and the room very cosy . If we should have plans to come back in the future it will be sure in Ca Morosini ! Thank you Raffaella for your hospitallity !!
