Great location, in the central district, but in a quiet area, clean rooms, good service. Breakfast food selection is mediocre, but the cloister garden where breakfast is served, is amazingly nice.

visited Venezia with young children and this hotel was so centrally located in the middle of all there is to see in Venice, that it allowed us to get back for some quiet time any time during the day. just off st. marc's square.

This hotel was located in a very quiet laneway yet very close to many of the major attractions like Saint Mark's and Rialto. It was easy to find by following directions from San Samuele stop. The rooms were large and had basic but comfortable furnishings. Breakfast was OK with a reasonable variety of food and it was very pleasant to eat in the garden. The reception staff varied a great deal in their attitude and helpfulness, but on the whole were OK. There are lots of restaurants within 5 minutes walk.

Be aware that there are two "Calle de le Muneghe" in Venice. One at Fondamenta della Sensa, which is NOT the one you want. The right one is at Calle della Botteghe (San Marco area), close to the San Samuele boat stop, as others have mentioned.

A few rooms overlook a closed playground for children. Now children must play, so I'm not complaining about that. But hotels should not offer rooms overlooking a playground. It even had lights to enable them to play after dark, which they did. Listening to children kicking a football hard against the hotel wall below you is not nice.

I asked for another room at which point the staff informed me that the playground is only used on Wednesdays and at parties. I got another room anyway.

Room Tip: Ask for a room not overlooking the playground.

A gem located on a quiet lane just 5 minutes walk from the San Samuele Canal stop. So convenient to get to all the major sites. A variety of shops and restaurants in every direction. What a treat to sit at breakfast with a view of the lovely courtyard and its amazing roses. The hotel is beautifully maintained, our rooms provided every comfort, and the bathrooms were large and nicely arranged. A great value!

Room Tip: Not all rooms provide a nice view, so be sure to ask for "A Room With A View".
