The workshop was a great experience for our teenagers who are into art. he owners were very caring and helped them to design and paint their own masks.

Fantastic people, really enjoyed their work, both Giulia and Igor.
My missus was really happy with what Giulia suggested as dress to wear and Igor did a great job capturing these moments.
I wont talk much Ill just let the picture speak for itself.

I booked this as a surprise for my friend who loves dressing up. Giulia and Igor made us very welcome. Being the last day of Carnivale a lot of the stock was out on hire but we were satisfied with the costumes Giulia chose for us.
Igor took us on location to the less busy areas where we could relax enough to enjoy modelling and posing for the shoot but to be honest we were having such fun in the Carnivale we kept laughing so some of the shots are more entertaining than portraiture.
However, as the package includes a USB with all shots we have full control over post production and by tweaking colours, adding tints etc I was able to detract from any funny faces made.
This was a fun way to spend a morning. We glided through the lanes in these lovely creations feeling very much the part and grasped the sense of entitlement that such a costume could convey. For 45 minutes we were back in the 18th Century imagining ourselves grand ladies.
We also purchased beautiful handcrafted masks made by Giulia and left not as customers but as friends.
I recommend this experience and advise to book directly so that they retain the whole fee.

Carnival in Love Grand Ball 2017 "Labyrinth of Sins"

Thank you so much Giulia, Giacomo and Team for wonderful and magic moments on our visit to Venice. Awesome!

Arriving late on Friday evening in the "Sogno Atelier" for dress rehearsals. While waiting we had that much fun, laughing while trying dresses, changing accessories until everything fits perfectly. Giacomo switched on the Music, start dancing......

Saturday afternoon we found the Dresses in our Hotel room, ready for "TIME JUMP"....
Arriving at the Palazzo Benzon the alley was full of couples and people wearing dresses from the 17th and 18th century - lining up for the entry.
Meeting Giacomo again. He was everywhere....taking care of all guests....
(unbelievable this guy)

Entering the 1. Floor getting a warm welcome from Giulia (incredible hairs, outstanding dress, wow!!!) and "Miss Benzon" (astonishing beautiful looking woman) getting seated at a table near the balcony, with Grand Canal view.
The table for 8 persons was a good mixture of different nationalities having lot of fun all night long ....
(thanks to the "South African devil from the UK")

The entertainment and dinner were diverting. The artists moving from room to room impressing. One of them took my walking-stick and started juggling ......amazing ;-)

Visit Venice, come to the Sogno Veneziano Atelier, find your magic and enjoy!!!

Regards and "kiss the ring" ;-)

Could not have possibly asked for a more magical evening ! It began with a mysteriously red lit cocktail party on the first floor of a several hundred year old castle overlooking the grand canal. The room was filled with excited guests, elegantly dressed from head to toe in the finest period costumes Id ever seen. Champagne flowed and service downstairs was excellent while exotic entertainers wandered the floor entertaining guests awaiting their table assignments upstairs in the ball room. Once upstairs, each table was elaborately decorated and candle lit. This was an evening and experience I knew would last a lifetime ! With that knowledge, know that I was in NO hurry and wanted to savor every minute of it....and You should be too. This isn't meant to be a rush rush American style sit down restaurant kind of experience. In the style of full royal court fan fare, there are long periods between each course for cocktail mingling and mixing, stage and mobile floor entertainers wandering from room to room....and then another course would arrive. The elaborate fan fare of it all was 90% of the experience. I found the food well presented and delicious. The portions being of a tapas type of fare. ( Although the desert pastries were divine.... I would however like to see a chocolate dolche added to the desert options at the end.) I found it no wonder the event was sold out as early as it was !

The only downside was the availability of only a single bathroom upstairs. But lets face it, 300+ year old castles certainly weren't built with elaborate indoor plumbing to accommodate large public venues. They just weren't. But I wasn't expecting the ladies room in The Mall of America either. with some patience and mingling in line with other guests, I was able to comfortably use it twice during the evening without issue.

If there was an option for 10 stars....Id give this event an 11. Absolutely magical from beginning to end.
