The location of this B&B is perfect - on a quaint alley on a quiet but beautiful canal out of the touristy areas of Venice. And so close to everything - the vaporettos, the Rialto markets, ....The directions they gave us were spot on and the interior furnishings of this 17th C building evoked the luxury of the past - very opulent. We LOVED the balcony views and the solitude of the canal - we were able to sleep with our windows open and it was so quiet except for a seagull in the morning ! The beds were comfortable, the room was large, and the comforter was thick. Breakfast was brought to our room each morning, and when we had an early train, they even made sure that we had breakfast before we left ! The room had a hot water pot so we could make tea and coffee when we wished - we love that. We cannot say enough about the wonderful experience !
