“the fishes are alive”
Reviewed January 10, 2014

I was impressed by the variety of fish and seafood all alive. That scared me a little so I asked the seller to give me something that doesn't move. The merchants are friendly and they give me the instructions on preparing a few dishes

“Get a real feel of Venetian life”
Reviewed January 1, 2014

I had the chance to visit the market very early in the morning when all the merchants were setting up their shops and getting their days started. It was great to see all the activities all around, people smiling and greeting you, welcoming you to try their products.

If you're a photographer, this is a dream place to be early in the morning. The beautiful backdrop, the superb colors of fresh produce, seafood and the fresh faces make for memorable pictures.

Definitely plan to visit, and try to come as early in the morning as you can.

“Colorful and quality”
Reviewed November 23, 2013 via mobile

I just loved the ambient here!!!
It was great to see how local people get there fresh food everyday.

You also have along Venice at the "campo" and some streets mini markets selling fresh food and fish.

But the market, oh the market. It's just amazing.
If you're a food liver and the color of vegetables, food, flowers and the typical environment of a Market excites you, this is the place to go.it will not disappoint.
