The hotel is just off the main walking street from the train station. It's a nice, clean hotel that could be a time warp from the 70's. The front desk staff was always friendly. We loved the automatic cappuccino machine with the included breakfast in the morning. Breakfast was pretty basic.
The room was comfortable and pretty spacious. We had a corner family room with bunk beds that was quiet. The main problem was the mosquitos. Leaving the windows open for some air was not a good idea. My son had mosquito bites all over his face and anything out of the covers after sleeping. There was no AC and it was hot the days we stayed. Not sure if a different room would be better or if they have an option for screens. The owner would also smoke outside in the walk and the smoke would come right up into this room.
Overall a nice, affordable option in Venice with a good location.More
