My party was so happy with this hotel. The staff was so friendly and helpful and the rooms were lovely, updated, modern, and so quaint.
We were in a quiet area near to the water bus and restaurants and shopping, but
definitely walkable to walk to St Marks Square.
Stayed here for the last two nights of our honeymoon; selected this hotel based on location close to train station as well as a waterbus stop for a morning airport transfer on our way out of Italy. It is a bit far from the main tourist attractions at Rialto, Saint Mark's, etc, but a convenient waterbus stop on the Grand Canal is about 10 minutes walk away -- and this means the location is nice and quiet at night, but still near to shops/restaurants. We also booked with airline points, another reason that drove us here.
Clean room and bathroom. Room was tight, but we each only had one carry-on suitcase. Bed a little hard, most people would probably want an extra pillow as well. Showering was a new experience with handheld shower head and no curtain/divider to speak of -- almost easier to just take a bath!
Wi-fi was spotty throughout the stay. Worked fine when connected but often dropped, and then would have trouble reconnecting.
Pleasant interactions with all staff. You must leave the key to your room with reception each time you leave; receptions is manned 24 hours. At first I thought this was strange, but eventually enjoyed it as I never worried about losing the key.
We were celebrating a special anniversary and stayed in the junior suite with a canal view and it was wonderful! The location is great, away from the main tourist areas but with a vaporetto stop nearby which is convenient for the airport, train station and the Grand Canal. The owner and staff are really friendly and helpful. There is a roof terrace where you can enjoy views of the Cannaregio canal.
This hotel is very clean comfortable and located in a quiet neighbourhood within walking distance of the action. Also water buses stop with 50m of the front door. Breakfast is a nice treat sitting outside along the canal. Close to train station. Very reasonably priced. Would stay again. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Brilliant two night stay in this lovely hotel. We arrived on foot from the bus station and were glad to be greeted by the friendly and helpful staff. We were pleased to be able to leave our bags and go and get some lunch before coming back to discover we had been upgraded to a canal view suite - what a treat. The room was comfortable and spacious and the view out to the canal was spectacular. Breakfast by the canal was another treat and was served with a friendly smile- the pastries were delicious! We would definitely recommend to other travellers and would stay again if we came back to Venice. Thank you.
