We love this hotel. It is so professional, but warm and friendly at the same time. it is located in a great area, near the Rialto bridge but not in the throngs of tourist traffic. It is positioned on the Grand Canal but on a quiet little side street. It is clean and new, while retaining the classic charm of the original palazzo. Our room is nicely furnished and very spacious for a Venetian hotel room at this price point. The breakfast is delicious, the owners work hard to provide local and organic food options. We can't wait to come back to this hotel!

Clean beautiful hotel with good amenities and tastefully decorated. Also, in a nice location nearby tourist shopping street. Could get around quite easily & quickly via the Rialto bridge or vaporetto.
Dining room has a lovely view of the Grand Canal and a great place to sit and relax if time permit. Breakfast was diverse and excellent.
Staffs were helpful, courteous and friendly that makes this hotel a fine place to stay with plusses far outweighed the negatives.
Location is quiet, terrific, not far from the ferry and quite easily to find after a little getting used to the map and directions.
Room rate was a bit pricey but reflects the artistic nature of the house with comfy king-size bed and walk in robe.

We spent 2 nights at the Ca' Angeli. The location is perfect in a quiet area just off the shopping area. Our room was very large and extremely clean. It overlooked a smaller canal. The breakfast was incredible. Ahh, the croissants! The breakfast room overlooked the grand canal, which made for nice long relaxing meals. The staff was nothing short of excellent, providing great advice and help for our first visit in Venice. We highly recommend the Ca' Angeli and look forward to staying here again.

Such a beautiful hotel with beautiful amenties and beautifully decorated. Once I found my way around it was in a nice location and via the Rialto bridge or vaporetto could get everywhere quite quickly. The dining room has a lovely view of the Grand Canal and a great place to sit and relax if time. The staff was ever so helpful. First time, like most places in a new location, lots of turns town tiny walkways to locate, but once you do it is quite easy.

Pros
+ Location on the grand canal, in the section where gondolas circle in groups during the day = free on canal concerts, peaceful at night / view of Campanile
+ Water bus stop just a few blocks away, shopping tourist street nearby and water taxi dock right in front!
+ Rooms reflects the artistic nature of the house, get the ones with canal view !
+ ELEVATOR!
+ Staffs are awesome, 24 hrs available, and attend in detail to your needs (booked us taxi 5am to airport, gave us a bag of food to go just in case we are hungry.... that's so nice)
+ Nice whirlpool in room
+ Library / breakfast area is nice to hang out in during the day

Cons
- Pricey... but what isn't in Venice?
- A bit hard to find, make sure you print out the map on their website
- Wish I can afford to stay longer?

My wife and I enjoyed our first trip to Venice and the Ca' Angeli B&B was a fine place to stay, with the plusses far outweighing the negatives. The location is terrific. One reviewer said that it was a quite a hike from the ferry to the B&B, but it's not far, it's just a bit hard to find. The map and directions on the web site are fine; it just takes a little getting used to. The breakfast room overlooked the Grand Canal and that was a big plus. Our only negative was the room itself. We paid in advance for a "Double Superior room with at view of a side canal" and that wording implied much more than we got. The room itself was fairly Holiday Inn and mostly had a view of the wall of the building next door. The view of that side canal? If you crank the window all the way open, lean way out and look straight down you can see water, it's true, but I think the wording above overstated the case more than a little bit. That said, we'd stay here again because of the incredibly convenient location and the quiet.
