Great location on a quiet side canal and about halfway between the Rialto and Accademia bridges. Beautiful building. Rooms vary in terms of size and location. As other reviews have said, the upper floor rooms are probably better, as ground floor rooms are near the breakfast room and fairly dark (might be an advantage in summer). Good wifi, very clean, very attentive staff, room was ample in size. No negatives except for the room location.

We have a small room, but its design is very smart and you can find a spot for everything.
The boy at the reception is very polite and the interior is unique.
Also we like very much its location, close to bars, pubs, restaurants and supermarket.
It’s a nice hotel with friendly hospitable staff. They speak English very well and had a very nice breakfast. It’s located walking distance from The San Toma boat taxi stop which is a few stops from the main train station.
They have a tv on the mirror itself which is quite cool. The rooms are spacious and the washrooms are of decent size. They offer fee WiFi.

For my partner's birthday present we stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and have just returned home. The hotel was lovely and clean, in a location that is easily accessible to Venice attractions and the hotel staff were really friendly and helpful - we were acknowledged each and every time we either left or arrived back at the hotel which made us feel valued as customers. On our first night we stumbled across a small entertainment area literally a 5 minute walk away from the hotel where there were lively bars, coffee shops and restaurants which we would heavily recommend!
The only negative is that we were woken each morning at 7.30am to the sound of local church bells however the early wakeup call meant we were able to see more of Venice.
We have already said that if we were to return to Venice then we would definatly return back to this hotel!

Hotel was fine. Room was only standard very small could have been bigger. We were in a room to the back of the hotel where building was going on. We were woken every morning at 7.15 to the sound of the builders so no relaxation. Breakfast and staff were good.

Let us clarify that unfortunately the sizes of the rooms and the rooms are not decided by the owner of the Hotel but from the Common of Venice cause our building was an historical palace and some walls cannot be moved.
Regarding the external noise we're sorry for that incovenience.
For the next time we advise You to book a Deluxe room cause is bigger than the standard.

Just off the Grand Canal (which is busy and noisy, despite it looking fabulous) 5 minutes walk from a boat bus stop (vaperetto stop) a relatively quiet area away from the crowds of St Marks and the Rialto Bridge. A lovely little hotel. We had a beautiful bedroom with high ceilings and a separate room with huge chaise longe and another TV, overlooking a small canal off the Grand Canal. The only reasons for not giving this 5 stars is due to the fact that there's no bar and maybe the bathroom could have been a bit bigger with the hairdryer needing to be outside the bathroom for convenience. (With a mirror above the writing desk to double as a dressing room). I know that's a minor comment, but room design is important and little changes make a big difference. It is in a lovely area with authentic bars and restaurants and close to some great tourist attractions a bit out of the ordinary. It's just brilliant wandering the streets around the hotel and if I got the chance, I'd go back and stay here again.
