Description: Vineria all'Amarone is a wine bar in Venice city Center. It offers a fine selection of local wines from high end vinos such as the Amarone della Valpolicella to affordable high quality wines that you can also take away or ship back home. At Vineria all'Amarone you can also taste the delicious Venitian finger food, the "Cicchetti" and a sophisticated selection of cold cuts and cheeses.

all'Amarone was the beginning to a wonderful evening. We happened upon this back alley (isn't all of Venice back alleys?) after a poor choice in dining around the corner. We had one of their wine samplers (45euros) which was a great way to try some local wines! After that we bought a bottle of wine from that sampler and some delicious bruschetta tastings! The staff was helpful with our bad italian, and very quick to help. The wine selection was outrageous and there is a bottle for every budget. The food was amazingly good and the other selections that came out looked fantastic too!

Although we could be biased since this is where I asked my future wife to marry me!

We will be back soon!

My husband and I stopped for a light snack, we shared a margherita pizza and drinks. The pizza was good. We ate outside and watched the foot traffic go by. It is a quiet street so the foot traffic was light. The wait staff was fairly attentive. Their restroom was small and quaint.

No more and no less the best restaurant we went to in Venice. service was excellent and food was incredible. the restaurant is quiet and relatively inexpensive.. We tried the bruschetta and some pasta as well as deserts and came back a second night in a row. Quite refreshing compared to the usual Venetian rip-off.

We had lunch at amarena. Ate proscutto and fromaggio with some of the wines they suggested. Very nice lunch, try their own red wine. A little priced, but like a italian barollo. Good service, nice waitresses.

We loved this place, recommended to us by some other English tourists a few days ago. Small inside, but intimate and if you love wine and good food you will love this restaurant. One of the best meals we had in 5 days in Venice (and we like our food).

Great displays of wine and wide range of availability and such tasty food.

My only (slightly) bit of negative feedback is the staff need to smile more and show their character more. When the owner is standing there and over them, they become visibly on edge and a bit robotic. This is inconsistent behaviour. Just be yourselves all of the time!!! You are all great fun and make the place what it is 🙂
