“You must stop here for your lunch. No choice”
Reviewed December 2, 2013 via mobile

This is a wine bar apparently, but that's the difference. You will find a warmly environment managed with passion for both good and wine.
We met the owner for the the first time yesterday thanks to our friend @Monica cesarato and we've been treated like king and queen.

Simple dishes but delicious. Loads of cured ham and typical veneziani salami.
Wine... OMG never tasted such a nice prosecco or that fruity wine whose name is off top of my head.

I can only recommend everybody to pass via Venice to have a stop. You won't regret your decision and your wallet will enjoy that too as price are all but expensive.

“GREAT food, wine and service!!!!!!!!!!!”
Reviewed November 27, 2013

We ordered an appetizer (Bruschetta with fresh Mozzerella), 2 entrees (Sausage on baked Polenta and homemade Tagliatelle with Porcini mushrooms) and 2 desserts (Chocolate Souffle and Tiramisu) and had a few glasses of wine (white, red, and sweet dessert wines) and I must say we were extremely pleased with everything we ordered.
The ambiance was somewhat rustic, yet warm and comfortable with a cool, modern, red, freestanding bathtub used to chill their bottles of alcohol on ice. It stood out in the otherwise homey atmosphere, but was nonetheless cool looking and eye-catching.
Alfredo, the owner, was a very fun, talkative, expressive, colorful, welcoming man who made us feel very special and at home. He talked with us before and after our dinner, but not during and was in no way intrusive. He even treated us to a few drinks 'on the house.' His waitress, Diana, was also very warm, friendly, and professional and joked around with us a lot. She made excellent recommendations to us regarding what wines to order and she even let us try a few before we ordered to make sure we liked it...and we didn't even have to ask her; she just showed up at the table with different bottles and empty glasses. We wanted to take some pictures of them, too, so they invited us behind the counter into their kitchen for a nice photo op with their entire staff !!!!! We felt like family. It was a wonderful place, very affordable and we will no doubt go back there the next time we visit Venice !!!! We recommend it highly.

“Excellent wine tasting experience. ”
Reviewed November 24, 2013 via mobile

Alfredo is incredibly passionate about his business and the satisfaction of his customers. Coming to all'Amarone is quite similar to spending time with him in the impact of his home. The atmosphere is cosy and I image and the staff tries heir best to make everyone feel welcome.

“What an experience!”
Reviewed November 23, 2013

I don't want to spoil the experience for anyone else who wants to visit but basically if you want to be treated like a local friend of the owner then this is the place for you. Great food, even better wine. This place made our visit to Venice, thank you so much.
