Having had many disappointing meals in Venice during past trips, it was a delight to find this trattoria while exploring the back streets across the Rialto from our hotel. This is a small, family run restaurant with the father cooking and mom/daughter running the front of house. The small menu had good variety and quality. We particularly loved the Venetian chicken. Everyone in the room seemed to be enjoying themselves as did we. The kitchen seemed to close shortly after 11 and we left a little after midnight. A great choice compared to the touristy places near the Rialto and the Canal.
