This is a beautiful place, ideally located in the centre of Venice. It's a short walk from both the more touristy destinations like San Marco and Rialto and not too far from quieter places like Dosoduro and Santa Margherita.

We stayed for one night in a junior suite with a lovely balcony overlooking the canal. It was extremely peaceful and felt very luxurious. Complimentary slippers and robes were a lovely addition and beautifully displayed when we entered the room.

Staff were extremely attentive, suggesting places to eat and booking a table on our behalf. Even on short notice, they managed to get a terrace spot at Linea D'ombra which was a fantastic place to dine.

The room had a nice bathroom with a great shower. The bed was comfortable and a double instead of two single mattresses that many hotels in Venice opt for. The ceiling had an amazing mural which also made the room feel extra special.

Breakfast was ideal with a mixture of savory and sweet options including pastries and cakes. Prosecco was available which was also a nice addition. Cooked options included crepes and omlettes - the latter of which we'd highly recommend.

Small touches made the stay extra special like a welcome glass of prosecco, fresh biscuits in the room and a thank you letter when we checked out. You really get a sense that the staff value your custom and for us that made the hotel a really lovely place to stay.

Overall, it's a lovely place that has the high quality attentive service of a five star, but doesn't lose the friendly, warm and welcoming atmosphere of a boutique hotel. We regularly come to Venice and while this hotel is a little more expensive than what we usually go for, the added extras and customer service make it our new regular place to stay .

The room pictured with the beautiful fresco on the ceiling was our room. The hotel was very helpful in arranging water taxi from the airport and getting the water taxi to train station to continue our journey. Gian Luca - We would like to thank you for making the "kick off" of our milestone birthday adventure the most memorable experience. From our arrival to our departure everything was truly special. The welcome Prosecco toast, the lovely accommodations, the dinner suggestions, the fabulous breakfast spread with amazing coffee and the lovely gifts left for us to make our stay special and to remember it in the future - Grazie!!! They have managed to combine the old and the new in a beautiful quiet and very unique setting, on a quiet street but a short walk to all that you want from your Venice experience. Gian Luca was especially thoughtful and sensitive to my husband's "celiac" (GF) issues and offered up an abundance of options right down to a lovely homemade breakfast fruit cake... with a "birthday candle" - so sweet!!

Stunning stay, can’t fault anything. They were so friendly and helpful, the breakfast was lovely... especially the fried eggs and coffee. They pulled out of the bag some added touches not expected as it was honeymoon... brilliant:)

Put simply, the apartment exceeded our expectations on quality of fit-out, furnishings and size. It made our 3 days in Venice far more pleasurable. It was perfectly suited to my daughters aged eight and eleven.
