I heard another tourist saying:"another exhibition about Leonardo. I have seen so many around the world". I expected a little bit more for the price of 6 Euro. They are showing a movie which is interesting but it takes a long time. Also if the people trying the machines its difficult to understand the movie. A lot of the machines you can not try and only look at them. It looks a little bit like they sat it up quickly last night. Do some dusting please so it looks a bit more welcome and professional

His genius is arguably unmatched and this assembly of some of his more far-reaching inventions/machines is interesting, if not breathtaking (which I find his art to be). This collection pays homage to DaVinci's many dreamed (and some actually devised) inventions. Some of the designs are instantly recognizable while others owe their creation to man's insatiable involvement with war and the willingness to pay someone to help further the cause through the creation of sophisticated weaponry.

The collection is housed in a former church and the lighting within can be a challenge, as can the lack of air if it is really hot outside.

Le Maccine di Leonardo Exhibit in Venice. Was in a nice little church that was either air conditioned or otherwise cool by default. That was really the best part, as an escape from the heat of the day. Entrance fee was pricey for what you got. Go if you are really at the end of your to do list for Venice

I came across this exhibition on one of my walkes. I found it very interesting to see the models of some of Leonardo's inventions. Some were interactive and you could wind the levers and watch them work. It cost 8 euros to get in and you could spend as much time as you liked in there when I visited in may.

Its amazing what davinci managed to invent in this life. It cost 8 euro to get in and you get a good history lesson. They have recreations of some of the most famous drawing that davinci ever did and some that have great significance to modern technology. Good visit of you enjoy history of engineering. Dont go if you expect any original works.
