I visited this hotel before with a big group of exchange students. A solid hotel, close to the railwaystation, but in the middle of the Venezian excitements. The hotel is a fine place to come back when we where tired. To rest or sleep and have breakfast. Small room, not for staying long during the day. € 104 for per night is rater expensive for me.

The one good thing is the location being so close to Santa Lucia train station. The room was okay, a tad cramped, and the bathroom was a wash room with a toilet, shower, bidet and sink all in the smallest space possible. However, they were all bearable. The main negative of this place was the staff. The breakfast staff and the guy who took our cases were lovely; the staff on the reception were terrible. When we arrived the woman did not look up once, not even when she was talking to us! Also, if you wish to use their wifi you can only use it in the lobby, which is fine except the code is renewed every 10 hours. Thus, once you have got the code for the morning and get back at night it has changed, and the staff do not seem happy about giving this code out.

The hotel is rated as a three stars. It is indeed convenient to stay so close to the train station Santa Luncia and very near to the Gran Canal. But I do NOT recommend this hotel. Being a three star hotel does not mean that you have a good-hearted English-speaking staff in Italy...

The staff and people at this hotel were disrespectful and were very willingly unkind to me. One thing that you really need to book in Venice is a hotel that will agree to store your luggage while you walk around in the hot burning sun. An inconvenience of Hotel Nazionale is that their check out hour is 10:30, therefore quite early in the morning. The staff can decide if they want to keep your luggage in their storage room based on criteria such as do they like your face or not. And since they are not fundamentally leaned towards kindness, you might very well end up visiting Venice in a hot burning sun taking your luggage with you.

Last thing: their breakfast is terrible. The buffet is quite large, but I dare you to find anything eatable in it. If you chose to drink coffee, you will drink something that tastes like tar. If you chose to drink tea, the water will be so cold that you will be able to stick your finger in it.

This hotel is clean, convience, reasonable priced, small rooms, internet available in front desk area, front-desk people answer all your questions quickly without much smile.

The hotel is located very close to the train station and ATVO airport bus station. There are lots of restaurants/stores nearby, even there is a small farm market about 500 meters when you walk out from the hotel, turn left and cross a bridge. The rooms are clean, but very small, especially the bathroom. A 1.8m+ person could have problem to use the toilet. The free WIFI is only available in the front desk area. The people are helpful. They answer your questions fast. I was in the hotel for two days, but I don’t remember see any smile from the lady in the front desk. I like the hotel, but just did not feel “welcomed”. The people working on the breakfast are the same. BTW, the breakfast is very basic.

Beautifully situated to the water taxi's, people's mover, shops. Loved the area and the vibe. A lot of stairs, lift is tiny but we managed. The desk night duty staff were not friendly at all but then again there were fully booked with a lot of youth groups hanging around the lobby where the free Wifi was situated. The breakfast was ok. No cooked food. The rooms are air conditioned, clean with a nice size bathroom. I would recommend this hotel for the location.

Located really close to the train station, a 5 minute walk. It's a 3 star with a great location
so it's a tad expensive but location is important in Venezia, it means you are really close to the
vaporetto main stations and it's easy to move around with the night line.
The hotel is old , and you have a lot of stairs to climb to get toy the reception. To be honest
the receptionist was a bit stiff but I guess it has to do with the number of clients they have to attend.
Structure is old and the corridors are large and for the first time we had to be walked by a bell boy.
It was a 3 bed bedroom. The third bed was almost the same size and comfort of the others. The room was small
but big enough for us three. Beware of mosquitoes, there are a lot romaing and you will notice them
smashed in the walls and check the bathroom for them.
Breakfast is ok. Nothing hot, and for our two nights it was the same type of jam cornetto all the time. I wish
they had switched it a bit. Coffee was burnt , really bad but other than that it was ok. Juice isn't natural
but it's ok.
There is free wifi but it only works in the reception and you will have to ask for the codes.

I have seen complaints on tripadvisor regarding the price, to be honest, after searching I would say than 130 for
a 3 bedroom is ok although expensive it's all due to the location. You can walk the city but take the vaporetto
24h ride at least for one of your days. You can walk from the hotel to the St.Marco for a 30 minute walk.

Great location. The downside, no lift and carrying suitcases is a workout. Everything else was fine. Staff friendly and helpful. Wifi is hard in your rooms due to the concrete walls but serious why use the Internet. Walk out the front everything is there. Rooms clean, bathroom in our room was great. Very happy to recommend this place and price is ok for Venice.
