Arrived at the hotel at 12 noon. Our room was already prepared for us. Michele at reception spoke fluent English and helped us with where to get a good lunch. He also rang a restaurant on my behalf to make a dinner reservation. Top quality, professional but friendly, welcoming service.

The room was a standard deluxe double. Slightly on the small side by most standards but still perfectly adequate and not at all cramped. The bathroom was well equipped and spotlessly clean, although perhaps getting a little dated. (This may be harsh as the decor is in keeping with a typical period Venetian building.) The bed was VERY comfortable and larger than expected. The one fault was that the room and bathroom were too warm. The towel rail in the bathroom belts out the heat and, without a window open, the room gets a too hot. (Again, this is very harsh as we just opened the window and the cool fresh air quickly remedied the problem. I'm being very picky as, truthfully, there wasn't anything to find fault with.) We had a desk and chair, a telly (all Italian channels, but there's so much to do you won't have time for watching telly), free wifi (you get a password for every one of your devices), plenty of towels, a safe, and plenty of storage space for clothes. Everything you need, really.

There is a well stocked bar in the lobby which seemed to be open all night. Breakfast is from 7 to 10 and includes fresh croissants, cakes and pastries, fresh coffee or machine coffee, and all the usual 'continental breakfast' ingredients.

The hotel is well located on the central canal. Highly recommended.

This is a great little hotel very close to the train station with fantastic and very friendly staff who are always willing to assist and advise on good places to see and eat in Venice. Upon arrival we got the option to upgrade, with no additional charge, to the newly refurbished building, which is situated just at the rear of the main hotel. Actually we felt this was better to be located down a side alley and it gave a more romantic feel and has some nice places to eat just around the corner. We could not fault the room and the continental breakfast was good as well, with a good variety and the coffee machine on tap!! We defiantly want to return to Venice, would look to stop at the same hotel again.
PS we have to give a special mention to Anka on recieption, she mad us so welcome throughout our stay and was always willing to help us with whatever we asked. Fantastic hospitality, keep up the good work!!!

From arrival to departure, Hotel Antiche Figure was just perfect! We were upgraded to a large room with Grand Canal views in two directions. It was enthralling watching all the activity outside. Proximity to the railway station was important to us as we had an early train to take. The night concierge made us cappuccinos and invited us to help ourselves to the excellent breakfast nearly an hour before normal 7 - 10 a.m. breakfast time. We hope to return to Venice and this Hotel will be our first choice.

This is one of the best hotels I ever been to. It's a historic building with very nice Classic Italian furniture. I've to be honest I was worried while booking because some of the photos here weren't very nice and it being a three-star-hotel but I decided I'll trust the many great comments here and I wasn't disappointed. Absolutely the best staff I've ever seen! They are so helpful and sweet they make you feel really welcomed and they don't even wait for tips. They are so polite and always giving you information about the area and suggestions and you feel they are doing it from their hearts not just because you're a costumer. We only spent one night but I wish we stayed longer :)

We booked this hotel on the strength of other reviews and could not have been happier with our choice. Our room wasn't large and didn't have a view, but it was beautifully decorated with a comfortable large bed and pretty bathroom. There was plenty of choice at breakfast. This is a small boutique hotel; the staff are very friendly and helpful - we were only there three nights but we almost felt we had been staying with family. The location is ideal because it is close to both the station and the main bus terminus. It takes no time at all to walk to the main sights or to pick up a water bus. Perfect!!

Room Tip: If you really want a view for a romantic weekend, then pay the extra but our room on the third floor...

I stayed there 3 days in December 2013. It was located in the central of the Venice near by the ferry stations. Clean and very historical looking hotel. Service and personnel were wonderful. they were very peaceful and helpful. I am really satisfied choosing there to stay in Venice.

Only thing I can say is the breakfast was not so good. Because it was everyday the same and cold breakfast. And no cheese! in Italy! was strange to me :) They can work a little bit on it. That is it. It was like a five stars hotel!!

Thank you all

The staff was incredible and very much a help with navigating the area. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a boutique/intimate hotel. Breakfast was included with the stay and offered the most delicious of Italian coffees complimentary. Only con -they offer all toiletries except hair conditioner.
