Great place to stay in Venice
Staff friendly and helpful
Central location but not in too crowded of an area.
Great restaurants and cafés nearby. Just a short walk from the water shuttle
Rooms small but comfortable

Picked this hotel based on previous reviews and we werent disappointed. Fabulous place to stay an ideally located for a Venetian city break. A short walk from the Ca D'Oro vaperetto stop makes this an idea place to stay to get around Venice. Our room was immaculate and very clean. Max and Ivan were very welcoming, friendly and informative. We stayed in a triple room; with two single beds and one sofa bed. The sofa bed was not the most comfortable, however I slept just fine. If you're fussy about your beds you may want to sleep on one of the beds. Our only criticism would be the lack of tea/coffee facilities in the room. As there is no restaurant in the hotel, breakfast is brought to your room each morning. You simply specify what you want including (its generally a continental breakfast) and what time and they bring it to you in the morning. Unfortunately there is only enough tea/coffee for one cup each, so if you like your caffeine fix in the morning it wont be enough. Overall we were thrilled and would recommend it to anyone, great value for money. It may also be worth noting that this hotel is up a flight of stairs and has no lift, so its suitable for those that have difficulty climbing starts.

Our wedding guests were booked into 4 of the 6 rooms in this hotel and the attention given to my mother in law was 2nd to none, asking us our hotel room number if she were to have a problem they would then be able to call us. Little things like this stand out. So on our return to Venice we stayed here too, the owners Max and Ivan give exceptional service and nothing is too much trouble. My brother has stayed here twice since too.

When we decided to go to Venice, everybody told us that we would only be able to stay in Venezia Mestre with the budget we were in, as the accommodation in Venezia (island) tended to be very expensive. We were able though to find a room at this hotel with a very reasonable price, and we loved it. Although it didn´t face the canal, it was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The heater was just perfect. The shower was great. They offered breakfast in the room for 5 euros per person/per day, and we ended up having it. It was simple but just what we needed for a day of sightseeing. The staff was really friendly and helpful, even though some of them didn´t speak English very well. All in all it is a perfect place to stay. Really recommended!

We chose Venice for our 16th anniversary and my wife did a lot of research on hotels. Our trip was in November 2013, which is the off-season for Venice. As expected the properties on the bay and the Grand Canal were expensive, even for off-season stays. We chose this hotel based on other reviews and we are very glad we did. Our room overlooked one of the smaller canals, a very peaceful view. The room was spacious, opulent and very charming. Each morning we awoke to a breakfast of fresh baked breads and cappuccino. The food was top-rate. The hotel is off the beaten track so it was quiet at night. Our stay, being in November, did not allow for us to keep the windows open to enjoy the view, but I could imagine that it would be an ideal and romantic setting during warmer times. First rate service, an excellent location (convenient to the Ca D'Oro water taxi stop), and pleasant, very accommodating staff. .We will be repeat customers soon!

Room Tip: Ask for the room adjacent to the front desk on the first floor. It seems like it would be noisy but...

We were so fortunate to find this charming hotel! I traveled with two of my friends and triples are so hard to find! The room was absolutely beautiful! We had a view of a canal! The staff/owners were wonderful! There are no elevators so be prepaid to carry your suitcases up stairs and map out a plan to get there from the train station ( we walked over lots of bridges with luggage). This hotel is worth it! We were able to walk everywhere from its great location!

Staying here was the best part of our visit to Venice.

The customer service and hospitality was the best I've come across, personal and genuine.

Our room was fantastic and absolutely spotless I felt like I was the first guest to have used it.

Location is perfect, 1 minute or less from the grand canal and away from the main tourist madness but all still within walking distance/ easily reachable of everything.

Breakfast is served to the room at a time you want and consisted of coffee, pasties, bread jams and yoghurt it was lovely and just what you need.

I would come back to Venice jut to stay here, it was perfect. Thank you!
