This was the best hotel out of the three we stayed in on our recent trip to Italy. Comfortable beds, quiet, exclusive and a perfect location near everything. It felt like our own apartment and we would highly recommend a stay here.

This hotel was a gem. The standard of room, cleanliness and service was second to none, and it's position, just 100 metres or so from St. Mark's Square, is really convenient and central. We would have no hesitation in recommending the Ca' del Campo Hotel to all.

It was our very first time in that wonderful city, for my boyfriend's birthday... We booked it via Expedia, as it was still available and for a reasonable price... not to mention its ideal geolocalisation !!!

Good points +
- excellent localisation, 5mn from San Marco, very close to Rialto bridge as well !
- clean, nice little room
- very confortable bed !!
- cool staff, speaks all languages, always wiling to assist
- pretty good (at least solid) breakfast included
- cleaning done everyday, perfect
- very good soundproofing (see next paragraph to see why it's important)

Points that could be better -
- was hot & muggy in the room when we got back, had to keep the window wide open
- do not hesitate to ask a room on upper levels, as first one is very noisy with the street life
- only 3 channels on TV - not that we were there to watch tv, but only TV5 Monde, CNN and a German channel, no Italian speaking one, too bad !
- 3€ for 30mn of Wi-Fi.... that's a bit expensive

To conclude, we were very glad to find this hotel, which is nice, confortable, and - cant stress that enough - verrrryyyy well placed !!

Go for it, as we definitely had a great time there !

Dear Sir, Madam,

in receipt of your comment written on Tripadvisor we are pleased to learn that at the end we were happy about having staid at our hotel and we will close attention to the notes that you have made with regard to the small dysfunctions that you have found to improve our service for our next clients. We take the liberty of reminding you that a few of these could have been made fixed by the reception such as the arrangement of the Italian tv channel.
Thank you for making such a good comment on the hotel and on our staff.

The hotel is in a great location, literally 3 minutes walk from St Marks square.
It is very clean & the bedding/towels are changed daily. The staff are really friendly, helpful and speak good English. Lovely breakfast buffet too.
You can catch a gondola 10 metres away from the hotel door & if you carry on over the bridge the Barbenara restaurant is 20 metres on the right where you will find great food at a decent price!! This hotel is definitely recommended, we would certainly stay again if we came back to Venice.

NOTE - if you use google maps to try and find this hotel, type in the street name, rather than the hotel name otherwise you will end up on the opposite side of Venice like we did!

We had a lovely experience at the Ca' del Campo Hotel in Venice. The staff were welcoming and assisted us with our cases as we had missed the lift. Although our room was small we, it was beautifully furnished with a King sized bed and a very modern ensuite shower room.

Our breakfasts were taken uspstairs and although they weren't luxurious they consisted of everything you needed to start your busy day.

Our first trip to Venice. Location was unbeatable--walking distance but a little further removed from the major hustle-bustle of San Marco & Rialto. A quaint street. Breakfast was very tasty. Most impressive was the service of the nighttime staff person. Jet-lagged, my daughter and I wanted to go out for a midnight stroll but the staff member pointed out that it was flooding in the streets. He managed to scrounge up two pairs of boots for us which made our stroll possible.

A clean, charming, small place with a great location. Would recommend to any of my friends visiting the city.

Me and my Girlfriend have just returned from our lovely stay in Venice and I'm almost certain that if we were to stay anywhere different than the Ca' Del Campo we just wouldn't of had the same experience of being in the heart of Venice.

I'll break my review down into sections, just to make it easier to read a specific part of interest.

Location and getting to the hotel -

The hotel is situated in the heart of venice right on the doorstep of a busy collection of different restaurants, cafes and shops. It is located next to a small waterway where you can easily catch a ride in a Gondola and make your merry away around Venice. The hotel too is only around 2 - 3 minutes walk away from St Marks Square which is very convenient if you wish to take a late night stroll.

Getting to the hotel from the airport in our case was fairly easy, we simply used the Alilaguna boat service and caught a ride on the Blue Line which dropped us right off at St Marks Square, it was then only a short 5 - 10 minutes walk from the boarding dock, to make finding the hotel easier be sure to print the map from their website, this made it much easier for us.

The Rooms -

The room that we stayed in was perfectly situated on the 3'rd floor at the front of the hotel, so we had a great view of the canal and bridge to the side of the hotel and the small charming restaurants by the turn of your neck.

The rooms are very clean and are set to a very high standard for a 3* hotel, plenty of wardrobe space and a beautifully tiled bathroom with a walk in shower. The only negative about our room was the bed, it was fairly harsh on the old back and the covers were of a certain acquired taste, along with the curtains to match.

There is a Television in the room, however there aren't any English channels to choose from, it wasn't a problem for us but I figured it may be for someone else.

The street below can be relatively noisy from time to time, particularly early morning and late evening, however the windows are very sound proof and when closed almost block out virtually of the sound, which is great.

Wifi is available for an extremely cheap price consider the amount that you get and there is also a minibar within the room.

Service -

The service of the staff from the hotel was some of the best service I have ever experienced in any of my city breaks. The staff spoke fluent English and were more than happy to share with us some of the cities history and advise of us good restaurants.

Breakfast -

The breakfast room was situated on the 4th floor in what seems to be a converted loft with skylights built into the roofing, this wasn't a problem however as there is a reliable lift within the centre of the hotel.

The breakfast was very simple and exactly what you would expect from a continental breakfast, cereal, milk, oats, yoghurts, selection of meats and cheeses and breads.

I can't emphasis enough of how happy we were that we chose this hotel, the reviews on here really do it justice and I'd like to find out why anyone else would say otherwise. We will certainly be visiting again.

Dear Sir, Madam,
we wish to thank you for the nice comment written on tripadvisor about your recent stay at our hotel. We are very pleased to learn that you were happy with almost all the services of our hotel and with the staff. What makes us happier is that you enjoyed the service of our staff but we are very sorry to learn that you have not been able to find the channels of British television because they are provided. It was enough to ask our staff to do a reset of your television.
We anyhow apologize for this inconvenience and thank you again for your thorough review about our hotel.
Kindest regards,
