5 minutes walk from St Mark's square and similar to Rialt bridge this is a great location in venice.
Staff very courteoous but average. It would have been nice if they offered more help on where to go, restaurants etc. Some basic information was up on the notice board.
Breakfast was a simple afafir but very fresh croissants and plenty of it. Small unexciting room.
We booked a canal view suite - this emans a normal room with two windows overlooking canal. Not worth the extra money in winter time as have to lean right of the room window to see the view! The room had a small shower room off of it. very clean and fresh and shower worked well . However, Venice prices as this was a pretty average room for over £100 a night! I'd expect and get a lot better in the UK!
We were able to leave nags and collect later on our last day. Evening receptionist made us coffee and tea each night and borught it to our room on a tray which was a lovely touch. ask, as they don't advertise this service - a sign with prices only - and at 2 E a head this is brilliantly cheap!More
